My heart truly lies in powerlifting. **** this bodybuilding ****. Next week I'm coming out of retirement and I will start training for powerlifting again for the first time in 10 years.
.
It's time to do what I'm truly passionate about. I have all the necessities that I need to start training.
.
I'm ready for real this time. I'm going to deadlift only and then eventually start benching after my shoulder is strong enough and healed up from doing rehab work
.
I'm going to cut and get down to 185lbs and then maintain that weight and train my ass off until I feel good enough to compete in a meet.
.
I know I can do this and I'm not going to let myself down again. No more doubts and no more second guessing myself. Now is the perfect time to come back to what I truly love.
.
That one and only meet that I competed in 10 years ago was the best day of my life. Powerlifting is my one and only love and I'm coming back to it.
.
I'm going all out this time and train hard and go beyond my limits. I will smash that 500lb deadlift within the next year, if not sooner.
.
I'm going to show you all who I am and what I'm capable of. I will go far in this sport and outwork my competition.
.
I want to earn another trophy and I will get it, no matter if I place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. I'm going to do whatever takes to earn another trophy for the first time in 10 years.
.
It's time to get serious and go after for what I really want; to become the powerlifter who I once was except being stronger than I was before.
.
I will follow my own path and stay true to myself and my heart, to do what I think and feel is right.

I have 7 months to prepare for a meet thats in may of next year. I'm doing deadlift only while I rehab my shoulder so I can eventually start benching again.
I have people that have my back for this and I won't let them down or myself for that matter.
Start my training saturday morning. I'll be training 3 days a week and going as hard as I can each training session. My goal is to pull 455lbs or more come meet day next spring in the 198 weight class. I know I can do it and I will.
This will be my first meet in over 10 years since I stepped back from powerlifting for so long after getting injured 2 months after my meet back in 2009. I'm excited to powerlift again and I'm highly fuking motivated to earn another trophy to put next to my old one.
Mark my words... I'm going to step back on the platform and be bigger, faster and stronger than I was back then so long ago. I'm putting everything I got into this. I will unleash the monster inside me and show everyone what I'm capable of.Training Log:
