    Can Finally Bench 1 Plate

    It took me 5 months but I finally went from being only able to bench the bar and seeing girls lift more than me, to 135. It's still not much but the feeling of benching one plate felt amazing.

    On to 2 plates...
    2020 Goals: Squat: 405 Deadlift:515 Bench: 250 Overhead Press: 185 Row: 250

    Btw you can’t OHP 185 if you can only bench 225. You can ohp 155 you could easily bench 225. The 2 are connected. The more your OHP goes up the higher your bench goes. That’s why a lot of strength athletes do more OhP than bench press. I increased 20 pounds on my ohp and magically increased my bench without even training it.

    Ran 6.94 handtimed in the 60m dash this year at 6'0 and 205. Translates to 10.9 hand timed at 6'0 and 205. That translates to 11.6 FAT (fully automatically timed) in the 100meter dash at 6'0 and 205. Power to weight ratio is getting better.

    They are realistic. Just not the ratio between bench and ohp. If I were you as a beginner I would start with basic calisthenics. Like dips, pull ups, sit ups, push ups and jump squats. Then you start at 135 as a beginner. Calisthenics helps more than you think. And btw those goals are not unrealistic. There’s guys who could barely bench the bar who got to 315 all natural. It’s because you are surrounded by weak people in your gym that’s why it seems like nobody can do it.

    Nobody cares how much you can bench press since you're a twink. And since you probably used a Russian arch to do it. Wow so you arched your back a full 15 inches and did a full 4 inch range of motion bench/board lockout hybrid bench.
