@Mark, someone sure like you Nice grill pics!
No good food pics lately, but this is dessert tonight. (wed is a lower cal day for me in general).
It is halfway between a cappuccino and a latte. (only diff is qty of milk and froth).
1tsp of xylitol and 1/8 tsp vanilla. Total of aprox 30 cal. I used to drink these every morning, but since doing IF, I drink reg coffee in the AM and this has become dessert!

No recipe. One of my splurges 15+ years ago was a superautomatic cappuccino maker. I had a good friend from Switzerland and he had one at his house. The coffee from it tasted so much better so I decided to get one. My wife thought I was nuts spending over $1000 on a coffee machine. (she did not know I could have spent twice as much if I went with the really nice ones!) But she grew to use it more than I did. It lasted 10 years and one day broke. It did not take her 15min to call me and say "we have to order another one!". I went with a nice Saeco again, but did not go 'top of the line'.
A couple years ago I splurged and for our anniversary I got my wife the one I had always wanted with all the bells and whistles. It is/was the top of the line Saeco with auto milk frother...etc. It grinds the beans, tamps it, steams milk and puts it all in your cup. 100% auto.
I have found we like Lavazza Gran Creama beans. Other than that...push a button and sweeten to taste! It is part of my morning ritual with my wife. Mine is on the left. "Americano" coffee which has no milk. Just strong coffee and I use powdered MCT as a creamer so it does not mess with my IF. Wifes latte on the right.

Mark, why did I not get an invite??
What is in the mushrooms?
Yesterday I was going through the fridge and decided it was time to use up all the veg -
Onions, chopped carrots, red and yellow capsicum with button mushrooms, a
few of pieces of chicken thighs and then added tomato passata with a splash of red
wine. Crushed garlic is usually added but they were soft unfortunately.
There's never enough "thyme in the world" so in it went, some chilli to start the
engines.. love the heat! Nothing special but really nice on cold nights. Great
with a crusty loaf of bread, rice or pasta or enjoyed plain.

You always have an open invitation, Louisey
Garlic butter is in the mushrooms. Mushrooms on the grill are exquisite.
Your dish is beautiful. All those colors and flavor. Thyme is a perfect seasoning for it. Thank you for sharing thatHelping one person may not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.

ha ha Thank you, Mark. And I will definitely try mushrooms done this way.
Last night I made nachos and usually I'll wait until the kids are around but they are busy with work and life so no need to deprive ourselves the pleasure. I'm afraid I failed to take a picture and when I thought about it, they were already half eaten and.. Poof! The thought vanished
This video has inspired me to look into buying a pestle and mortar. I can't believe I've lived so long without one! Rather than cut the chicken into small pieces I would probably leave them whole, love how Marion's recipes are simple and they all look amazing. I'll probably do a variation of it one day

I have always wanted a pestle and mortar. They are quite versatile, from grinding fresh or whole-dried spices to making authentic guacamole. Also, a great conversation piece in the kitchen where everything happens
Big Bosko is back. I would eat thatHelping one person may not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.
