    Thank you!

Made a crock pot mac & cheese for my Super Bowl party. Came out so good! The recipe I posted below is for a lot of people. You can easily cut the recipe in half.

    Recipe:

2 16 oz boxes of large elbows/casserole noodles (boil in hot water for 4 min)
coat your crock pot with non stick spray
put elbows in the crock pot and mix in the following below:
    4 cups milk
    2 cups sour cream
    8 oz cream cheese
4 cups shredded cheddar (sharp or mild)
    8 tablespoons of butter
    salt and pepper to taste

cook on low for 2 1/2 hours and stir every hour. last 15 min of cooking throw in your bread crumbs (optional)

Thank you! I made a really good nacho dip too. Did a meatless because I got a few vegans here.

2 8 oz pkgs of cream cheese (layer on bottom of 13 x 9 in pan)
1 jar of salsa spread over cream cheese
    Top with shredded cheddar

Bake on 450 for 20 min. Serve hot with your fav tortilla chips.

Cheap breakfast steak, 3 eggs, and medium salsa.

Deciding if I want to make this one of my quick go-to meals. Very easy to overcook these thin steaks. 10 minutes in oven at 350 and still overcooked by 3-4 minutes.

^^^ Greg, cheap breakfasts are great. Suggestion on that type of meat. 350F is not hot enough, because you are also cooking the inner part. Try Low Broil setting at 1 minute each side. If not enough, add 30 seconds until you get it the way you want it. This sears the cheaper cut and retains the juiciness inside. The lower heat cooks out the moisture before it's the way you want it.

Ok, I made Oat Milk today because I wanted to see what all the buzz was about and I love oats.

I quickly learned to not soak the oats, because it makes the end result too slimy. I followed the simple recipe shown in this excellent video. I slightly modified the recipe by adding more oats and using filtered water instead of tap. Takes about 2 minutes, literally. I used 3 cups of oats to 6 cups of filtered water into a good blender. Blend for 30 seconds max. If you blend more, it gets slimy. Then, pour into a "nut bag," which is a fine-mesh plastic bag, squeeze into a glass container. Add a dash of salt and a touch of your favorite sweetener, stir well and you are done. Store in fridge, good for about a week. Stir briefly before using.

Great in oatmeal, coffee, tea and froths well for your coffee if you like that. Very versatile and cheap. Better than paying $5+ for a small container at the store.

    Perfect cow's milk alternative.

It tastes delicious. It is amazing. I am not vegan, but if you are, this is perfect.

kimmie, lmao I went to the store yesterday morning with a list and all I came home with was a carton of oatmeal that didn't have the plastic top.

There's a lot of squirrels in the neighborhood and for some reason they are looking mighty tasty

You know when your oatmeal is missing the plastic top you're in trouble! I'm hoping life goes back to normal soon.

I made ham steaks, baked mac & cheese and brownies for dessert.

kimmbles, you are such a giving and sweet lady

    And there was bread:

This bread came out spectacular. I didn't have any milk, so i made a fresh batch of oat milk. I only had so much bread flour, so I ground 2 cups of whole oats to make it up. I don't need to buy bread for 3 weeks.
