    Exclamation Protein intake

Hello, I have 65 kilos age 14 and 8 months in the gym and just started my professional nutrition program made for me, I forgot to take 2 protein shakes throughout the day and i only took about 40-50 grams that day. My question is:Can i catch up/redress my proteins the day after by eating more protein, what happened to muscles and was the training efficient like i ate normally or wasted( i know some of you think this question is stupid, have in mind im learning)

You are 14. You shouldn't be following a "professional nutrition program" unless it says that you should eat when hungry, ask for seconds when still hungry and try to eat a wide variety of foods. Enjoy your youth and your prime growing years. Plenty of time down the road when your body is mature to focus more on a structured diet regimen.

yes just eat 300g today and you're all set lmao

on a serious note tho you're way to young to be worrying about this ****. like he said don't follow any professional programs rn if you're into lifting that's good but just workout and eat healthy.

Just eat. If you eat enough food you'll get enough protein.

    Agreed with everyone else.

I wish I was a teenager again and knew what I know now. I would have so much fun training and eating. Not that I don't now but ya know what I mean.

I can't imagine how much better my physique would be now if I knew what I was doing as a teenager. I had no clue that you needed excess calories to build mass and I didn't follow any kind of established program.

Yep. I was a morbidly obese teenager just going into the gym, messing around and telling myself "Man, I'm going to be dropping some major weight and toning up HARD" as I put my 10lb dumbbell back on the rack. Then subsequently going home and having a terrible day of eating justified by my terrible workout.

Just wish I had my head on straight earlier lol

Everyone has pretty much said it all already. Just focus on training hard and eating hard and you'll gain well at your age. However I understand your concerns - I was similarly obsessed with details when I was a teenager. Focus on the big picture first, if that's in order you can begin refining the details.

To give you a specific answer to your question, no, you can't "catch up" in protein intake the following day, unless you could go back in time to eat the extra protein you didn't. Your body is a dynamic piece of equipment and timing matters.
