How sad do you have to be to wish that women didn't have rights, and were treated as property, no wonder most of you here are kissless virgins. I guess that's the only way some of you could ever hope to get laid.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

This is true. However, orthodox Jews are not imprisoning people for giving up their faith, executing them for homosexuality, public amputating their limbs as punishments, or taking their children off them.
The state of Israel does many nasty things. But ask yourself whether you as a (I presume) non-Moslem and non-Jew would rather move to and work in Israel, or Gaza. Israel, or Saudi Arabia. Countries which are democracies and have rule of law, however flawed, tend to be better places to live than countries lacking freedoms and rule of law. Israel, like the United States and other Western democracies has an illegal immigration problem; most Islamic countries do not. Ask yourself why people want to live in these countries but don't want to live in those other countries.
It's not the particular religion as such, it's that the religion is part of the machinery of the state. European countries mostly kicked the Church out of government by the early 19th century. Many Islamic countries have kept it there. The secular Islamic countries are the ones we in the West keep invading and bombing, like Iraq and Syria.
That's simply because we in the West like our democracy at home, but we're not keen on it in foreign countries. If you have a dictator or absolute monarch, you can just give him a stack of cash and he does what you want. If you're dealing with a democracy, maybe the people will vote to tell you to fck off. We don't want Saudi Arabia etc to be democracies because the people's democratic will may be to tell us to go away. So we continue propping up murderous regimes ignoring the rule of law.

Laughing at one particularly arrogant, narcissistic sloot for getting her angus reamed by a repressive government isn't the same as fully endorsing said method of governance.
Caning people for littering isn't something I'm into, but I'm still going to laugh at the miscer who gets his cheeks busted for chucking his half empty big gulp container from a moving rickshaw in Singapore.

It's not the hypocrisy he suggests it is though. It's laughing at a fool for leaving the states and trying to raise a family in a radical autocracy.
The assumption that she probably wanted to experience another culture, without considering how incongruent it is with her own.ωσяℓ∂ тяανєℓєя ȼяєω

Five wives for one guy, and four broke single guys attending his limo and garden?
You think having five wives is "traditional family values"?
In this scenario, I suspect you are not imagining yourself as the guy sweeping up for the rich fat bastard with his five wives. A polygamous society is necessarily a slave society. Which is great if you're not the slave, but statistically most will be.
You've not really thought this through, have you? You guys are like the medieval re-enactors, everyone's a knight, nobody's a serf.
Guys praising this really ought to migrate there. See how you go.Last edited by KyleAaron; 08-19-2019 at 12:33 AM.

Admiring? You admire the fact they treat women like property, admiring that their word in the court of law means sweet fa, admiring that they can be married off while they are still children?
I'm assuming you don't have a daughter, but do you have a sister? You must have a mother? Imagine watching your mother get stoned to death over some bullchit.

I used to be in favour of men having multiple wives.
Honestly what I meant was I would gladly have multiple wives.
There's just no way in hell I could afford that.
So I've changed my mind about it....and according to which an ensign might rank incomparably higher than a general, and according to which what was needed for success in the service was not effort or work, or courage, or perseverance, but only the knowledge of how to get on with those who can grant rewards, and he was himself often surprised at the rapidity of his success, and at the inability of others to understand these things
