    Best Biecep Workout

Which one is best Bicep Workout ? There are number of exercises of Biceps which hits the bicep muscle from various angle. Three common types of exercise are Biceps Curls, Preacher Curl, Concentration Curl and Hammer Curl. Variations can be done by changing the equipment and body position. But which are the top bicep exercises for greater muscle activation.

Concentration Curl is significantly better than any other exercise for Bicep Muscle Activation. During Concentration Curl, humerus is pressed against the leg and doesn’t allow the upper arm to sway, which isolates the Bicep and activates the muscle greatest. It makes Concentration Curl variations as one of the best bicep exercises and must be included in workout routine.

My personal favorite bicep exercise right now is to combine EZ bar curls and drag curls into a single set. I do 10 EZ bar curls then immediately go into 10 drag curls. At least for me, it gives me a much better burn on my biceps than any other exercise I've tried. On the drag curl really push your elbows back away from your body and once you raise the bar up to waist level, curl up with your elbows still locked back.

Best bicep workout is after you've done all the compound upper body lifts and you still feel the need to do a curl, do some chin ups instead.

Idk this is what I do and my biceps seem to grow just as much as the rest of my body.

The concentration curl or standing curl slightly bent over with a cable may be even better as tension is through the entire movement unlike a dumbbell where the bottom maybe 1/3 is low tension.

Biceps my go to has always been the barbell standing curl.
Triceps has always been the close grip barbell bench press.
If I had to choose 1 each.

<-- Pic related biceps, I do 4-5 minutes on them per week. 1 set preacher curl to failure, 1 set hammer curl to failure, 1 static hold for 5-10 seconds each arm and that's it.
