Talking 2 workouts in one day?

I prefer to train my abs at home rather than at the gym, don’t ask why...

However I’m curious to whether I should be training them the same as doing let’s say legs earlier that day or chest etc.

Is this ok to do? Or should I do abs on rest days or do I need to be doing them as part of my other workouts

    Any tips welcome

Abs are the type of muscle that can be trained anytime in my opinion. In fact, you could do it every day if you really wanted to since it doesn't require the same sort of recovery as other muscle groups. So I say do them whatever way works best for you and suits your goals.

    Best of luck

Don't train them before legs or it can ruin your leg day.

I'd recommend doing them after your leg/chest/whatever workout. Your core is really important for providing stability during literally every exercise you do, be it a squat, deadlift, or bicep curl. I personally wouldn't want to fatigue my abs before heavy squats, and would probably do them on rest days instead.

It's also up to you. If you train abs before legs and don't have an issue with it, then don't stress too much about it
