When to drink whey shakes and/or protein bars

    Hi,

I am planning on working out 3 times a week, this would be strength training.

I try to eat my daily protein needs.

Do I only eat extra protein on workout days? If so, do you do it before, during or after the workout?

If you already eat sufficient protein you don't need extra protein during workout days.
Just to be sure, how much protein do you eat daily and how have you calculated the daily need?

As I'm still losing weight, right now I get 80 to 100 grams, suggested is 70 to 100. This is for normal daily activities, not for muscle growth or anything.

Doesn't matter the timing of drinking your shake, have for breakfast or before bed

    Post workout?

How tall are you? Weight? Age? Are you tracking your caloric intake/macros? How long have you been cutting? How did you come up with those numbers?
