Once a week, I make a breakfast that is out of control. This is a breakfast of champions made with a high protein toasted bagel, American Cheese, 3 egg whites and 1 yolk and a huge chunk of sausage.
Best guesstimates that this is almost 600 calories. Correction: Was almost 600 calories.
No shame.

You had posted those bagels before, I just got off the phone with them and I can only get the bread in Canada
Next time I cross the border I am going to have to get a stock pile of the bagels and freeze them

So close to perfection... but why oh why did you go for 3 whites and 1 yoke rather than 3 whole eggs, not just because the yokes have the fats you need for "T" or the choline or protein you missed, but the taste!!! You tried to brush off FarmerPalmers rebuke on this, but we can't keep it quiet, it's a matter of conscience.
You are guilty of crimes against eggs and it's unwholesome, omletting it slide this time with just this warning and the bad puns.
Personally I'd want chipotle sauce on that bagel, but that's a matter of personal preference.

Thanks. I was surprised how good they are and nice and chewy. But, I'm sure you can find some fresh bagels at a bake shop way up there.
Yes, I am guilty, but with the American cheese an that huge slab of sausage which is kind of hidden in the pic, it didn't matter. 3 whole eggs would have cleared 800 calories. That's no problem, but the sandwich was big enough

I eat two of those every sat post workout, two whole eggs each.
As a "lifter" not only am I always hungry, but I've learned to like just about "ALL" food. I just can't relate to tossing yolks.
As a kid and a teenager I was a picky eater, now I eat raw oysters, sushi, etc.
I was disappointed in those big fat strongmen, they couldn't eat those soft crabs.....man that's REAL protein.

That pan is a 12 inch pan, so yeah... its a HUGE omelette - the size of a pizza. And if you add the calories, it comes out to only 475'ish calories. Add the asparagus and sweet potato and you are at ~780 calories. I eat that 5 nights a week.
And as a guilty pleasure after an endurance race I like to have this. Its a buttermilk biscuit with fried chicken, fried egg, bacon, cheese and sausage gravy.
Im addicted to breakfast food!

Some nice looking foods right there! I have not eaten "breakfast" or even before 1pm for the past 9 months. There are times I miss a nice morning meal. Just a mental thing I guess. On weekends, if my kids have friends over, I will get up and cook everyone a good breakfast. Make some waffles or pancakes. As good as it looks, I just have another cup of coffee
