    Water jugs filled with sand for Plates?

    Can I use 45lb water jug (filled with sand) as a plate? I'm 15 and I can't afford anymore weight plates and I need to add more weight onto my bench.
    STARTING: 6'4 170lbs
    GOAL COMPLETED: 10%-11% bodyfat with some abs
    GOAL NOW: get out of skeleton mode and reach 200lbs+ again.
    UPDATE: 6'4 187lbs

    You could, but check out used on CL, garage sales, or wherever. Don't be afraid to offer less than the asking price if they aren't in great condition.

    Not trying to be an ass here but why don't you go do some odd jobs,mow lawns,wash cars,pull weeds,turn in recycle or anything you can raise a little money for some weights.

    I respect the dedication. But as someone else said take shorter rest breaks. Also do slower reps and more sets. Just focus on the muscle this way you won’t need to add more weight
