I’ve been cutting for about 23 weeks now, the reason I've been cutting so long is because this is my first cut ever after 3 years of bulking so I’ve been taking things super slow and trying to learn what my body responds to best. I started at 197lbs and I’m currently sitting at around 164. I can see a lot of definition in my muscles plus my obliques and serratus muscles are clearly visible. However my abs are not showing, i can see the outline of them and sometimes in good lighting i can very faintly see all 6 but they’re still not as defined as i think they should be. Any idea why this may be or what i can do to make them show more?
In terms of nutrition i cut my macros down to 40/30/30 (protein/fat/carbs) earlier and was eating about 2000 calories and saw amazing results, but recently my weight began to plateau so i changed my macros to 45/35/20 (protein, fats, carbs) and I’m going to try this for 4 weeks and see how it goes. Any recommendations in terms of diet?
