i've been following this since the beginning. these people asking for 2A are nitwits. the only reason why no one has died is because no one is shooting anyone. 2A may have its place in the states, but you can't just introduce guns to a place with citizens who have no idea how to handle a gun.

this whole thing started with the extradition bill because someone in HK murdered his gf in taiwan, came back to hk and is now off the hook because hk doesn't extradite.

while i agree with the protest in spirit and was on board, the moment the govt reconsidered and backed off like a month ago, the protesters saw the attention they were getting and demanded even more. now that the bill is officially announced as dead, they aren't backing off and even added more to their demands, including releasing all the rioters and demanding a re-rewrite to their own constitution. literally burning their own city down at the moment and pleading with the the UK govt cucks to allow them citizenship. lmao.

i liken this to BLM a few years ago where it just devolved into low IQs protesting and destroying their own cities for the sake of it. the key difference is no one is dead and the cops so far has been fairly lenient to the protesters...no matter what you hear from msm.

The bill IS NOT withdrawn yet, they are only planned to have a motion to withdraw it which means it can be rejected to withdraw. Do NOT believe anything the Hong Kong or China communist government says now.

Hong Kong protestors waving Americans flags because American flags represet freedom and democracy. Also, USA is planning to have a bill for HK's situation - Hong Kong Policy Reevaluation Act of 2019 - https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-...l/1824?s=1&r=1

Even if the bills are withdrawn at this moment, it's too late and too little. 8 people has suicide over this, more than 1000 protestors were arrested.

The only way to truly stop this protest is to meet ALL 5 demands -
    1. Complete withdrawal of the extradition bill from the legislative process
    2. Retraction of the "riot" characterisation
    3. Release and exoneration of arrested protesters
    4. Establishment of an independent commission of inquiry into police conduct and use of force during the protests
    5. Resignation of Carrie Lam and the implementation of universal suffrage for Legislative Council and Chief Executive elections

If you think the protesters are rioters, you must have been getting your news from a CCP controlled media.

    It's that simple.

who said anything about paying the protesters? i'm asking who is paying for all the equipment and distributing them.

You know who the fuk introduced this bill? THe HK/China communist government. They refused to withdraw it and now it's still only plan to have a "motion" to withdraw it.

bill was introduced because an hk man murdered his pregnant gf in taiwan and ran back to hk, he folded her dead corpse into a suitcase and dumped it...they can't charge him in hk due to no extradition and only charged him with stealing money from her dead corpse.

I guess CIA controlled HK or China government to introduce this bill right?

china's got its problems and should leave hk be, but protesters are cutting off their nose to spite their face. literally. this has turned into some weird ass BLM movement where you mix in racism, self hate, and distrust of the govt, who, as far as i know, is not even corrupt at this point .

People struggle to save up for a house(they are at least 4+ million hk dollars now day), that's the problem.

Taiwan has said time and time for a long time that IT will not accept this extradition bill and seeks other way to extradite the murder. But Hong Kong government refused to work with Taiwan and demand to pass this bill.

This is nothing compared to BLM. The Bill was to take away the independent judicial legal system in Hong Kong and turn Hong Kong into just another city in China where you can't even access Google without VPN. Look at the 5 demands from the protesters - where is the racism, self hate? I only see people fighting for democracy, freedom and their own dignity.

The protesters NEVER EVER said once it wants to become independent, they just want a more fair and not have their freedom(and their independent judicial system) taken away from them.

wow, 6 men turned over by the mob when police arrest LOTS LOTS of peaceful protestors. The police ALSO didn't arrive to the scene for the first 30mins, good job.

Second picture, yes they are breaking into Legislative Council building. Did anyone get hurt in the process? No, glasses were broke. Guess what, a girl was shot to blind by the police. Who is more of a "rioter" to people with common sense.

First and third pic, the police in Hong Kong has OFFICIALLY announce that there are undercover police pretend to be protesters. They can well be police.

To this date, I will trust the protesters way more than the government and police. The police press conference has refused to answer questions by the reporters in every single one.

P.S. - If the police didn't do anything wrong, why isn't the government setting up an independent investigation group to investigate all these "riots"?

let's stick to facts, not what your mom's cousin said or moving the goalpost every time your question is answered. don't end up using sjw/reddit tactics of persuasion, it doesn't work on the misc.

    1. you said no arrests were made from the triad attacks. i posted evidence, and then you said it wasn't enough.

    2. you said there's no rioting. i posted photos of rioting, and then you move the argument to "well no one got hurt". that is not what rioting means by the way.

    3. and now, any explainable evidence of rioting are now blamed on undercover cops. i didn't know cops there are issued glocks with tan grips. a far as i know, they still use revolvers. and why would a cop pull a gun out and pose for the camera? i thought they were undercover.

like i said, if you want your movement taken srsly by outsiders who aren't low IQ, please be better protesters and stop trying to riot and burn down your own city. i get you don't want to be under commie rule...but you're using every commie trick to rouse up sympathy.

    1. If you think 6 people arrested for that, of course that's not enough. How is that ENOUGH? How have they been trial yet?
    2. It is not RIOT when people break into legislative Council building for justice and democracy. If you fail to understand this, idk man - your so call "facts" are pretty evil.
    3. Blaming the cops? It's not blaming, of course undercover cops can get whatever equipment to look like a protesters, otherwise what's the point? They are trying to paint a picture that the protesters are violence which is a tactic that CCP have been using for YEARS.

Here's the bottom line, if all these your so-called "riots" didn't happen, the HK government wouldn't plan to have a motion to completely withdraw the bills.

Remember the protest happened first time with 1+ million protesters went out peacefully, the government said it will still pass the bill. Even the second time with 2 million, the government still wouldn't completely withdraw the bill.

Thank god for the heroes these past months, the bill is finally planned to be withdrawn. The fight is far from over though, Hong Kong people is fighting the good fight.

Also, still waiting for the government to establishment of an independent commission of inquiry into police conduct and use of force during the protests.

They are also free to investigate all the protesters as well.

This is the demand of 2+ million protesters.

The investigation was done by the police which is trusted by NO ONE in Hong Kong beside the own corrupted government. That's why establishing an independent commission of inquiry is one of the 5 demands.

Majority of Hong Kong people is calling for independent commission of inquiry.

You can twist ALL the pictures you find internet if you haven't even been in the protest. The fact is that 2+ million people who live in Hong Kong is calling for an independent commission of inquiry no police conduct and use of force during the protests tell you something is NOT right.

There 7 incidents in this video that experts found it was excessive/illegal/unnecessary force used by the police to BEAT up protesters. And this is only early on July, there are WAY WAY more incidents then shown in this video.

Here's the 5 demands of the protesters - Where's the independent?

Yes, this is extremely peaceful protest to a dictatorship ruling.

I disagree with molotov cocktails being "peaceful" . That is a riot and definitely crosses the line of "protest". Storming a gov't building is another.

I agree that Carrie Lam is a complete moron who did not handle this situation well at all.

The protesters who committed crimes should not be released. Those who are in jail without committing any crimes should be released.

Singapore is much smaller and they are one of the world's largest economies.

It seems that Hong Kong will keep pushing to get as much as they can. It won't look like it will deescalate until China gets involved.

You can disagree all you want. 2+ millioin protesters wouldn't agree with you. Storming a gov't building is definitely a responsibility and right for citizens when they refused to listen to peaceful protesters. It is the right for any citizen to storm a gov't building when the government is extremely corrupted and is clearly under dictatorship.(Xi's ruling)

Let's be real, it should be the CCP who gets the blame, not Carrier Lam. If the CCP didn't abuse human right for years, people who live in Hong Kong wouldn't have problem with this bill to begin with. Also, one country two system is already dead, CCP has complete control over Carrie Lam.

The protest happened first time with 1+ million protesters went out peacefully, the government said it will still pass the bill. Even the second time with 2 million, the government still wouldn't completely withdraw the bill. It's only after all these your so-call "riots"(which police/gang members who work with police hurt way more people) then the government planning to have a motion to completely withdraw the bill.

There is definitely a violent element to the protests now that wasn't present earlier on. But the police are doing nothing to deescalate the violence in fact they are more likely responsible for the escalation of violence, from the torture of that man in the hospital, to undercover cops dressing as protesters and instigating violence including that one under cover cop caught throwing a molotov cocktail. Then of course there was that attack in Yeun Long.

Protestors are having wrists broken, tortured, shot in the face, attacked by undercover police, some suspect the 831 incident there was at least 1 death that is being covered up.

I agree protesters committing crimes should be prosecuted but also the cops committing crimes should also be accountable, which so far doesn't seem to be happening.

I read it's the dirty cops who masquerade as protesters and trying to frame them by setting fire all over the place.
