Hi guys. I workout off and on. Unfortunately havent been consitant with it. I strained my back a few years back and couldn't walk for several days and after it tooka while to fully heal. I started working out recently and a similar thing happen but not AS bad as first time. From what I gathered reading about it online usually this happens when you do crunches that your lower back gets hit like that. The questions I have is if any of you had a similar issue woth the lower back? What did you do about it. Is it just a matter of slowly training the lower back muscles so it doesnt happen again and os there more to it? Any and all input is highly aprecciated!

so I wouldn't do exercises like back squat, deadlift, sit ups while you have a bad back. So until it feels comfortable I wouldn't do anything uncomfortable. Good thing about the gym is you can work around it. The simplest thing also is to reduce weight on anything u feel is aggravating it.
