    Exclamation Power lifting injury

I’m not sure this is the right section but I’m sure most people in here feel me. I love power lifting even at my age and I’m deadlifting over 500 squatting 405 easily and benching 365 at 200 lbs. I felt a pop in my back awhile back on the leg press and I only had 2 45 lb plates on it and I usually load up over 1000 lbs. Lately I’m feeling it pop doing squats and deadlifts here and there and it takes me out s week each time. Does anyone know what this is and I hope I’m not going to have to quit power lifting but it’s getging frustersTed with this funk injury every other month.

You probably should take some time off the heavy squats and DL's.
Maybe see a chiropractor or physical therapist to have a proper diagnosis.
Anyone here would just be speculating on your issue.
In my experience in many years of training i have seen many guys get injured on the leg press.
Going super heavy does nothing for your squat and I'm not sure how much it helps your DL.
I certainly don't see or read about top powerlifters maxing on the leg press.
