Don’t know if people have put this up before but these plastic clamps are very strong and super cheap. I’ve used them for ages and they still keep everything on the bar nice and tight.

I have Lockjaw and OSo, collars, plus a few generic copies which were significantly cheaper than the authentic version.
For light to medium weights pretty much all the generic collars work perfectly, but for a heavily weighted bar, or if I'm doing dynamic lifts the original's do appear to do a better job of keeping the plates tight, as with time the cheaper collars don't lock as well.

How much money have you spent on the rest of your gym that you can't get a pair of knock-off Lock Jaws or Quick-Lock collars from Amazon?
And if you're lifting serious weight, can't you spend like 50 or 60 on a decent set of compression collars or something?
Like i get it; **** gets expensive. but i think decent collars are definitely worth it. The knock off collars i've used never seem to hold quite as well.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

The nice thing about the clamps in the OP is that they also work with specialty bars. That's not the case with most other collars, unless you spend the money on Ivanko COT's or similar.

Speaking of collars, just today I ordered a set of these bad boys, since my son & I are tired of walking back & forth storing the collars while changing plates between sets:

I'll post up a review once we get a couple workouts on them.
