    300 pound bench

Just got a 300 pound bench press today. Was pretty excited for it.

A hernia and knee problems have squat and deadlift derailed right now, so I’ve been benching every other day for the past few months while bulking. Hoping to get up to 315 before my next cut.

Thats real good, you had some pounds to spare. Ever thought about going to a powerlifting meet? They are real fun.

Thank you. Yes, I told myself a while ago I’d go to one if I could get my 3 lift total close to 1,200 pounds.

    Congrats!

Thing about being old is setting new PRs each week.

    Not from progression......

    from not remembering last weeks.

Thanks for the encouragement, maybe I’ll keep my eyes out for a meet close to home.
