    This is why I like AWD cars. You can drive full potato like I do and the computer will keep the car on the road in conditions that would normally have you doing 360's onto some guys lawn

    The twin turbo setup i understand but i'm sure they were helped by other engineers from other manufacturers on how to make a proper high performance turbo system work on these cars.

    GM is no noob to high performance. They were able to make a lot of power, dating back decades out of a small block pushrod engine. Other manufacturers were relying on dual overhead cam setups.

    And i don't think there's really anything "new" about the future for corvette other than the twin turbo route.

    The DCT is made by tremec. They know how to build transmissions. Similar to dodge, bentley, etc going with a ZF trans. ZF is a known reputable company. They didn't just try to build something in house, they got outside help to make the chit work.

    GM wasn't about to destroy the corvettes' legendary history with unknown powerplants they don't know about. I'm sure whatever they have in store, they are confident it'll work. Otherwise they probably would have pushed these ideas towards the cadillac division and if it failed, who cares because its caddy lol.

    Great video. Yeah, the shifts sound quick. Matt couldn't say anything, but did you notice how flat it took every corner? He also didn't drive it that hard, but it was quick and the tires barely did skid at all. It's a fast car and the Zo6 is going to kill the track.

    About time some "real" footage of this car.

    Jesus look how flat the car looks around the track, it's like on rails. What's impressive as well is how quiet it is inside the cabin, when when "racing". It's a well built car. Not even tire noise or anything. It looks quick man and matt looks like he wasn't even hitting redline in most of the gears. And it looks damn quick.

    The z06 and zr1 is going to absolutely destroy everything in sight. Holy phuck. GM really did it. They are making everyone a corvette fan now LOL

    No. I Mean people who are actually going to buy one.

    Not people who just wanna complain that something isn't offered when they had no intention on getting the car in the first place.
