I like FAAB...but don't really care one way or the other. FAAB seems like it would be the better choice since it's an auction draft and order of nomination doesn't really mean a whole lot.

Glad I'm not the only one in league who has never done an auction before, lol.

I also tried to do a Mock auction and yea...it was ridiculous, bids all over the place, people leaving after first couple rounds, etc. So I figure just going in blind is as good a strategy as any at this point.

Also, FAAB has my vote as well. Seems to go along with the overall theme of an auction draft and I dig that.

Auction draft is actually pretty fun. I don't know if this league will be different in terms of overpaying for guys (I imagine that's just normal for auction leagues), but it's fun. A lot of strategy involved and you actually have to know each player as you aren't going to get all the guys you want.

My first time ever doing an auction, period.

Really pumped as well...Way more than a human being should be for a fantasy sport quite frankly.

I look forward to it. I like the fact that I can really get any player I want if I choose. I've done a number of mocks over the last few weeks, but never filled up an entire roster. Should be interesting.

I'm just going to throw this out there...I think I have the best team in the league, on paper.

My glaring weakness is my WR2 spot. I was hovering over the bid button and I accidentally bid on Josh Jacobs. I was saving that cash for my WR2. Instead, I got my 4th RB after 5 picks.

I think I'll be fine as I have decent WR2 options. Donte Moncrief I'm hoping can put up solid numbers similar to how Juju did with AB still there. Otherwise, I gotta hope Anthony Miller or Dante Pettis or John Brown or Mecole Hardman can step up.

Overall, I liked the auction draft a lot. As someone mentioned in the chat it's nice because you can get the players to want.

Had an absolute blast tonight fellas.

Now that I've tasted my first auction...there is just no going back to snake format, IMO.

Snake can get SO damn boring sometimes waiting 20+ turns before your pick. With auction you are literally in play for any player at any time. There is a ton of different strats involved as well.

Looking forward to playing Je Ne Saquon week 1, minus Zeke hopefully.
