I have been doing Jason blahas 5x5 for about a month and a half ( I have had 4 moths of previous lifting before I started this) I am improving in everything but bench press which is only preformed 2 times or 1 time a week... It takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes which is getting tiring. I am wondering if it would be better that I switch to Jason blahas new program which is 3x5 plus benchpress every day you lift (3 times a week) I also think I would improve more if I did 3x5 because so many times I can do 3 sets of 5 but I’m the last two sets I can’t get the final rep. Please let me know thanks.

As a novice you should be able to make progress with 3x5. Myself as an intermediate I eventually stopped making progress with 3x5 no matter how much weight I tried to pile on the bar. I then increased my volume by going to 5 sets for the main compound lifts and I immediately started seeing progress again.
Bodybuilding is much more than an hour in the gym a few days a week---it's a lifestyle that changes all your perceptions about how to live, eat, and rest. It feeds the mind as much (and sometimes more so) than the body.
