    Deadlift more than expected

I am 14, weigh 140lbs, and am very lean. I have been working out for about a month(I live on a farm so I was very active before) and decided to try deadlifts. I did a ton of research about proper form so I did not hurt myself. So I started out with my body weight, easy. So I moved up 40 lb, again, easy, I eventually got up to 340lb, I don't know is this is normal, I can do 5 reps of 340, it just seems like a lot for somebody who has never deadlifted before, any thoughts? Keep in mind I'm 5'10"

Leverage plays a key role in deadlift. This isn't unbelievable. As long as your form isn't going south, keep going.

Value of 1RM is questionable. I wouldn't pull at your absolute limit right away.

You're very strong op. The very first time I did deadlifts I was either 17 or 18 yrs old, I had started training at 15 but I had never done the deadlift before. I was 135 lbs and about 5'5.5'', I managed to deadlift 365 lbs, sumo style

You're 14, 140 lbs, been working out for a month and you're deadlifting 340 lbs for 5 reps? Yeah, this is hard to believe. That's more than double your weight with only one month of training. Post video. If this is legit then congrats, but I seriously doubt it

    Cable machine?
Thought you said it was a deadlift? There are no cables in a deadlift...
Get a barbell, go from there...

And don't take this the wrong way, but it sounds like you need to get a personal trainer, take weight training at the HS, or get some other kind of coaching...
A decent coach will get you going with the basics, like what is a squat, bench, deadlift... and make sure your technique is solid.

With a cable machine it may be a double pulley set up so it says 340 but it's only 170.
