As a soccer brah, she fights on multiple fronts and its so cringy.
Look, MAYBE MAYBE she can make a case for Kaepernick etc.
But the equal pay protest is just beyond dumb. The women dont bring in as much money or fans. Even if the US mens team is not as high on their totem pole as the women are in theirs its because every other countrys women are literally part time employees.
Just imagine if a D-team affiliate of an NBA team asked for equal pay.
The other issue is that in soccer, most of a players money comes from their club not the national team. The whole point of the national team is to REPRESENT YOUR NATION. Since the Womens league is so flaky and disorganized, they come up with demands like this.
