Pretty much confirmed wheat (may be just gluten) cause me insomnia

It is just my personal experience.

Weeks ago I start my breakfast with durum wheat macaroni with eggs for breakfast. I started get insomnia days and days, I didn't notice it is wheat at that time but I do change the diet overall generally to fix it.

Just yesterday I eat some Kellogg Speical K before bed (It is made from wheat and rice). I immediate experience insomnia again. Now I am using rise krispies to replace wheat cereal.

Energy from carb sources maybe causing you issues rather than wheat itself?

Cereals like Special K often have added vitamins. I've noticed they can put my brain in a strange hyperactive mode. I think it's mainly the B vitamins that can have this effect.

I don't think that the pasta you ate for breakfast could affect your sleep 15-16 hours after.
Also, I don't understand how corn flakes before bed are related to it.
This is just not the way an experiment aimed to demonstrate something is conducted...

    Sounds unlikely, honestly.

I suspect something else is causing your insomnia, general stress and searching for the solution in the wrong places might be an explanation. It's not uncommon to think a food is causing issues, because, well sometimes it does and it's something concrete which makes for an easy self-diagnosis.

Eliminate all wheat for a couple of weeks, if it goes away, you found the answer or killed the placebo... problem solved. If not, then you might want to take a good look at your environment and life in general to identify possible stressors.

great, cut out the wheat and see if it comes back, if not, then just keep doing what you're doing.

i doubt it's the actual cause, but man, if it works just go with it.
