Lost me in the first part, collusion, none was proven, no real evidence. The lack of evidence proving your innocence is not proof of guilt. If you actually believe that because the Muller report didn't exonerate Trump as proof of something, you just have proven your ignorance and stupidity to me because an investigation cannot exonerate anyone.

To get obstruction of justice, there has to be a crime in the first place, and then Muller said himself, that he was not obstructed. According to this Canadian on this thread, if someone accuses you of a crime and you deny it, you are obstructing justice and because you wouldn't confess, they couldn't find you guilty, so you obstructed justice.

He was never going to be charged as it reads in that report. They made a legal framework for investigating based on the advice from DOJ that a president can't be criminally charged.

In that sense...you might say realistically he can't obstruct...well, he can't be convicted anyway.

About the other part...I heard some legal analysis on POTUS (radio thing)...Dan Abrams. He's a legal guy. It really sounds like without an underlying crime, it still can be a crime to obstruct the investigation. The blocking of investigation can be illegal.

If there's no underlying crime, then the actions which might be considered obstruction might have alternative explanations because there would be no consciousness of guilt.

Daniels, a porn actress whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, alleges she had an affair with Trump in 2006, and Cohen paid her $130,000 to keep her from speaking about it publicly ahead of the 2016 election.
