Once again, instead of letting Trump take the hit on this one, the left comes over the top.
They will never, never learn. He should have just said he would report it, but like any savvy business man, you listen first. Which is completely understood by anyone with any objectivity. In no way did he come off like a traitor that the MSM is trying to paint him to be.
Good job. I would have probably hit on Trump for this comment just because it was bad political optics- but nope, the left took it home, again. They are legit petulant children, give them a crumb and they try to knock the entire cookie to the floor, creating a bigger mess than the original issue in the first place. It's this irrationality that turns me off to the left coupled with some very anti-American policies. (Not all, but some)USMC 0311

What about doing the same thing to try to overthrow a US President? Fusion GPS, Christopher Steele, ect? Trump did international business for decades before he ran for POTUS. They hold that against him. His dealings were an exchange of goods and services, and he wasn't in office at the time. Hillary Clinton has always been in politics, and she had her Clinton Foundation, where a lot of sketchy people from other countries DONATED money to her foundation, while she held office. Although she may not receive the money directly, there is a lot of power when you have a foundation like she does, which leads to position, control, and of course, money.
When all this dirt about Hillary came to light, was Trump supposed to get up and defend Hillary?

'Whataboutism (also known as whataboutery) is a variant of the tu quoque logical fallacy that attempts to discredit an opponent's position by charging them with hypocrisy without directly refuting or disproving their argument, which in the United States is particularly associated with Soviet and Russian propaganda. When criticisms were leveled at the Soviet Union during the Cold War, the Soviet response would often be "What about..." followed by an event in the Western world.'

Campaigns pay international political consultants/wizards all the ****ing time.

"Under current federal election law, foreigners are prohibited from making contributions or donations in connection with any campaign in the United States. However, it is not illegal to contract with a foreign person or foreign entity for services, including conducting opposition research on a U.S. campaign, so long as the service was paid for at the market rate"# of days since I last cut myself while peeling and chopping a butternut squash: 36b

So if Trump says "thanks for the opposition research" and hands the Ruskie a $5 bill it is no longer a crime?
It's pathetic that we all pretend like our system is not completely corrupt and set up for the establishment, and that guilt is purely whether or not your part of the establishment.Black Voices For Trump

I think this is accurate. How many times has Trump said something "stupid", the MSM and shills freak out, but the end result is he's proven right and/or their transgressions are revealed?
You can call Trump whatever you want, but he's a mastermind when it comes to manipulating the current narrative. Dude got a billion dollars in free publicity when running for president. Yes, so stupid...Best thread: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=168274783

ITT - low IQ Trumpers fail to understand the difference between Christopher Steele and Vladimir Putin
Paying Christopher Steele to do opposition research is not a huge threat to our democracy.
When Vladimir Putin decides he wants one candidate to win instead of the other and then offers help in the form of hacked documents, that is a massive threat to our democracy.
Do you think Putin is doing this for altruistic reasons? He'll obviously expect something in return, and if the assistance didn't come out publicly then he can blackmail Trump until he gets what he wants.
