Anybody use a magnifier for a red dot?

Thinking about trying an aimpoint 3x for my T2 but they are like $800 plus $250 for the mount to match so it’s an expensive thing to try.

Not a big fan personally. I would rather run a good LPVO. It's somewhat situational though. Not a bad way to go if you're doing a lot of work around cars or barriers where the less forgiving eyebox of an LPVO can get frustrating.

You can always try a budget magnifier like primary arms to see if it's something you like before committing to a pricey setup.

Looks like the Federal Black ammo rebate is live($25 off per 2 boxes. $100 of max per household/name). Depending on what caliber you need, you can get a really slick deal. Activejunky has 7% cashback on academy,12% on cabelas and bass pro, 4% on gander, and 2% on PSA.

If you feel like putting in the work, you could get cabelas/BP to price match another store that has it cheaper and then use the 12% cash back on top of it. I opted for the academy route and managed to get some 380 for .15/cpr after rebate and cashback. There may be some other cashback sites that have better % but I haven't really searched around. sent 300 rounds of that P365 Ammo through my P365 XL.

firstly, that ammo is garbage.

Then in typical sig fashion I had three failures to go into battery, and the barrel hood has crazy excessive wear on it after 300 rounds.

The gun was shotgunning ammo the first 100 rounds, but got tighter the more I shot (not sure if me or the gun "BrEAk iN PeRiOd")

the gun also got absurdly hot. another ding against having metal based triggers is you can't have extended range days with them without burning your fingers.

Most just can amplify the sound, then reduce the decibels when there's a loud noise, but you can't really tell WHERE the noise is coming from. Anybody have a pair that you can?

If you are going to buy parts and build it yourself there is no better time than black Friday sales. A few years ago I waited throughout the year and noted the amount of the discounts and who had a sale. Black Friday had the most participants among parts makers and the discounts were the most significant. The flip side is that good parts (Geissele triggers and charging handles for example) will sell out quickly.

Meh, their P-10 parts offerings are pretty underwhelming. Their trigger is not that great feeling, their tool steel striker is a solution to a problem an extremely tiny amount of P-10's had which CZ has fixed a long time ago, and the polishing can be done yourself easily.

The P-10 trigger we're about to begin production on is considerably better.

Currently have an XDS, which I like a lot and has been 100% reliable, but want those extra rounds. The Hellcat intrigues me a lot too, but sounds like it's a little thicker. I've already shot a 365 and did well with it, so I think it's happening.

P365 and the hellcat, I shot them back to back and the Pree tree Freeday was categorically softer shooting. I've heard rumblings about that hellcat recoil spring being stouter than most, which gives it that full retard snappy feeling.

The current edition Pree Free Thithty Fives "Should" be ok to go... MAC carries one and he's had 4 that broke sooooooo
