    Should I go to the gym today?

    I've been having this hip pain from my last leg day which was about two days ago. After that day, I did upper body and then I only rested yesterday.

    Today is supposed to be my next leg day and I'm debating whether I should still go. I still have a little bit of pain on my hip but it's not as bad as before. I won't be able to work as hard but I guess I could do some light workouts.

    Should I still go? Or keep resting until it's fully healed?

    Usually when I'm in such condition I go and have a lighter workout with a good warmup (2 long sets for each group).
    If I feel pain after or during the warmup, I give up.

    It depends on the amount of time you have and the kind of person you are. If you're afraid of going to the gym cause of judgments basis, can't take out 1hour of gym time and another hour to prep and come back and want to avoid the expense for it?

    Home workouts are the best.

    I personally follow, Jillian Micheles home workout series which are promptly just 30mins and you can include them in your schedule easily. They're as hard as hitting the gym for a good hour.

    Later, when you're used to working out at home everyday and have gained some core strength and fitness mind space? Joining the gym will just be an add on to your fitness.
