    Teen bodybuilding

    I’m 14 and been lifting and eating well for a year and seen no gains is it because of testosterone

    It's much more likely to be:
    1. Expectations - it takes years to achieve a good physique
    2. Training - what program are you using, what are your max lifts?
    3. Nutrition - do you eat meat, eggs, dairy, nuts, wholegrains, beans etc. several times a day and keep the level of junk food down? Are you gaining weight?

    I eat a lot of protein and and I try and get stronger on my compound lifts. Do you think it has to do with testosterone because that is what produces protein synthesis I have a bit of excess fat so don’t want to put on anymore fat

    I usually find when people say “eating well” they usually mean they are being needlessly restrictive and undereating in attempt to get abs(which is even worse while still growing)

    I have been in a dilemma because I want to eat more which I have done but seen no changes and I want to loose the extra body fat I have on me. I eat high protein moderate carbs and low fat . I train 3 to 4 times a week day 1 chest day 3 shoulders and triceps day 5 back and biceps and repeat

    What are your stats? Height, weight? At your age, unless you are overweight, you shouldn't being wanting to lose body fat as you are still growing and maturing. Also, get on a good beginner program like fierce 5 and don't neglect the LEGS!
