I have no weights though and the only thing I’ve done is running and pushups. Already starting to get a bit out of shape.

Well, going outside for a walk isn't the same as being able to go somewhere and socialize or find what you need at the grocery stores.

That's great you got paper towels. I was at the grocery store before work on Thurs and they had signs to only take 1 of the in demand items. I always get 2 of the big water jugs at a time and after seeing the sign I put one back. Trying to be a good citizen and all. Then on way to register see some lady with 3 or more packs of tp in her cart. :/ Fukking hoarders. :/ Really hoping the cashier didn't let her buy more than 1.

Well you could have just said you were on way to grocery store or something. I wouldn't even chance seeing my FWB right now. It sucks but it's not worth risking it for either of us.

Yeah I tried to buy 4 boxes of high protein almond milk and the cashier at the health food store said I could only get 2, so the cashiers are enforcing it (at least at the health food store). The aisle of soy and almond milk is almost empty last week but it was restocked and I didn't see any signs, but they had a sign for only one roll of paper towels in that aisle.

Yeah I only got 1 big jug of water.

My FWB doesn't have a car, so I could say I'm getting her some food from the store or something. That's true.

My trainers at the gym are streaming workouts on ******** Live and I have dumbbells at home.

Being alone isn’t so bad. Means you can become more productive around your house and get things done. I’m just playing on the PlayStation a lot which I haven’t really done before as I now have a lot more time to myself within the house.

Things also got weird yesterday....went to the supermarket and there were bouncers on the doors counting how many people were in and how many were out then thanking me as I walked out like I just left a nightclub lol

I live in the uk so I’m not sure if it’s any different but I just went to 10 different shops trying to buy lasagne sheets and none of them had any. I resorted to ringing friends and family to see if they had any and nobody did. I witnessed a guy having an argument with a bouncer on the door of a supermarket earlier because they weren’t letting anymore in and there’s also at least one pickup with a tannoy system on top of it driving around my town urging people to stay indoors to prevent the spread of the virus.

I finally went shopping after 3 weeks.
going to take the kids for the next week so thought i'd see what was available.

Aldi was 95% stocked.
there was a limit on gallons of bleach (I only need one for laundry) and canned goods.
they even had toilet paper. Finally.
I got one of those 18 packs. those were limited to 1 also.

I did buy more than normal because i'll be home with the kids all week and will just need more food.
but didn't hoard. don't see a reason to unless things go south with this virus in a really bad way and people start hoarding again.

Also, damn there was a surprising amount of women there i'd consider forgetting social distancing over.
apparently according to the guy at the register, Sunday mornings are when all the hot chicks shop.

50% of the time I'd rather be alone, but we split ourselves between the bedroom and living space whenever we need space. I prefer to work, and workout alone.

I'm with you. Dunno if it was the best time or the worst time to delete the apps but being locked down without someone to chill with/chat with kinda sucks.

It's been 1+ week without any dating apps. Couple of previous hookups hmu and I didn't want to see them. Really trying to do this thing.

What's weird is porn isn't even doing it for me now. Like, I use to watch porn and think about a girl I slept with or matched or was planning to meet, etc...and now watching porn just depresses me because I have no prospects on the horizon. Which is probably a good thing. If I can kick hookups and porn together that will help me recalibrate.

Well I'm an essential worker so can't relate. All I'm saying is a lockdown means we all can't go outside. You got people who are freaking out cause they think they're gonna get arrested just for delivering food even though they're essential or going to the store to buy food.

Just stay healthy, fit, safe, save when you can and you'll be fine.

You can do lots of body weight stuff too. Squats in all variations, walking lunges, regular lunges, push ups, etc.

Honestly hate doing just body weighted stuff. I feel like my form is way better with added weight. I don’t know. Tried using my porch steps to work out and nearly tripped lol

Well of course weights are better, but if you have none, high rep bodyweight workouts will help maintain. That's all I did for legs for months after my shoulder surgery and I maintained just fine.

Yeah, it def takes getting used to. I have a hard time doing walking lunges not holding DB's. I feel like my balance is better with them.

Luckily I did buy some weights before this virus broke out. Might just go ahead and purchase some more stuff after this is over with. Usually I like the social “experience” of going the gym, but I’ve been enjoying working out alone lol

On a side note lol I wonder if my 6 month biopsy will be canceled due to this virus. I really want to see if the medication is working
