People hoard what they see everyone panic buying. So probably a few people stripped a store of TP, then it got on the media and then everyone lost their damn minds buying TP.

Tea aisle stripping probably started with some ethnic grandma getting several lbs of her favourite tea, like enough to last her the rest of her life, and then shoppers saw her shovelling it into the shopping cart and promptly went mental to grab some for themselves. BRB now 50 surburbanites yelling and fighting over boxes of tea.

I couldn't find pasta sauce.
so I googled a recipe and bought what I needed to make it.

same with bread.

now, even that chit was gone.

I set for a few weeks but after i'll need to venture out.

I typically buy the big 20 or so pack of Scotts. Buying the bigger pack is cheaper per roll than a 4 or 8 pack. It lasts a good long while though. Thankfully I had bought one not too long before the TP hysteria. I ended up grabbing an 8 pack at the grocery store at the start of all of this just to be on the safe side.

The hoarding is crazy. All stores should have put limits in place for everything weeks ago.

Last time I went, no TP but plenty of canned chili.
I doubled down on the stupid that day.

I'm down to 2 rolls of paper towels so my friends suggested I go to Target, stand in line before they open at 8am, just to get 1 roll of paper towels. I work from home at that time so it's like wtf, but I'm glad they are rationing. They should have done it weeks ago like legz said.

I luckily found paper towels yesterday, but they also limited to 1 roll. It's like a ****ing scavenger hunt. When this is over I will always make sure I have a 2 month supply of all of this stuff, as my friend said that's what she does. I thought 2 weeks was good enough.

I also bought dish rags, because I thought what did people do before paper towels? There still is some Kleenex left in stores if TP runs out and there's no more. They used Sears catalogs as TP in the past, and we don't get catalogs anymore. The thought of using that is sickening.

I found paper towels a plenty but no tissues or TP.

This lockdown is going down pretty good tbh. Majority of my family has three weeks off and all of my brothers are drunk right now. Casually playing rocket league while everyone is singing the Pokémon theme song. Makes me not worry about the fact people are crazy and hoarded basically everything lmao

I have a crappy bench at home that only has enough space for 120lbs unless I manage to get some thin weight plates which I can’t as they’re all sold out, the bench wobbles and I have to change the plates between bar and dumbbell which is inconvenient. This is just not the same as the gym. It is nice being able to play metal through my speakers though.

I didn't know any of the girls I met from apps prior to meey them. Sounds like she wants to keep you in orbit. Give her one specific day/time/place to meet.


1) If she is busy, then you tell her youll get back to her when YOUR schedule frees up. Then you go NC.

If she contacts you. Don't talk about meeting her right away. Let her work to regain your interest.

2) If she is busy but offers an alternative date than she is likely interested in meeting.

Some exceptions to #1 where you can offer her another time, but make it a few days after the initial day you gave. Like if she said no to Friday night, don't offer Saturday night, makes you look like you got nothin goin on.

I've been using kitchen towels for a lot of stuff I'd usually use paper towels for just to make sure I don't run out. Still have 3 or 4 huge Bounty rolls and I have 16 rolls of tp left. If worse comes to worse and I run out of tp and can't find more I'll cut up an old t-shirt and make small wash cloth sized pieces.

I went 40 min early yesterday to BJs for chicken and frozen broccoli and stood in the cold and rain. I was first in line which surprised me, but the line ended up being super long by 9am.

It’s always been that way. Attention whores are probably loving coronavirus, they have a legit excuse to keep getting attention and never actually meeting.

You have to learn to separate women who genuinely want to be a bit cautious about meeting a stranger from attention seeking time wasters.

How did you restart the account? You do know tinder tracks accounts based on email, phone # and possibly phone ID/apple/google play accounts. If you have any one of these in their system, tinder will punish you and push you to the back.

I don’t think it does, I’ve read multiple stories of people doing restarts by deleting then making a new account. When I delete and make a new one I’ll have 30 matches on day one then it’ll drop off over the next Few days then slowly I will get less and less matches until “matches have pretty much died”. I’ve never been “pushed to the back” as it were. Every time you restart your account you get a noob boost and you’re at the very top.

One thing I have noticed though is if you’re off tinder for a few months prior to making a new account and then make a new one you’re on a super noob boost. I come off it for a few months before when I was with someone but when I got back on there I was getting matches constantly with good looking women.

Usually I just delete and create account and this seems to put my to the top of the queue. I have an old phone which I’m going to factory reset and put a new throwaway sim in it Then connect to a WiFi network I have not connected to before and create a new account through that phone instead, will keep you updated on the results of this compared to just deleting and remaking an account on the same phone.

I miss being able to run to the grocery store at any time and they had what I needed. I'm also bored out of my skull being home 24/7 and barely any IRL interaction with people. I like not having a drive to and from work, but miss being in the office with people and 2 big monitors. It's also hard being home and not snacking. I've been good though and 2 lbs below my goal weight as of today. Still lifting and getting some cardio in from walking my doggo.

That's great you got paper towels. I was at the grocery store before work on Thurs and they had signs to only take 1 of the in demand items. I always get 2 of the big water jugs at a time and after seeing the sign I put one back. Trying to be a good citizen and all. Then on way to register see some lady with 3 or more packs of tp in her cart. :/ Fukking hoarders. :/ Really hoping the cashier didn't let her buy more than 1.

Well you could have just said you were on way to grocery store or something. I wouldn't even chance seeing my FWB right now. It sucks but it's not worth risking it for either of us.

I’m not bored at all, feel super busy with work. I’m living with my gf right now through the lockdown.

I have no weights though and the only thing I’ve done is running and pushups. Already starting to get a bit out of shape.
