With my mate riding today on country roads, a deer has ran out in to the road while we were doing 70/80mph and hes crashed in to him nothing he could do it jumped out last second couldn't even do a thing it happened so quick. He came off his bike his bikes all smashed up slid along the road at 80mph in full gear. Hes got good gear(all ap) and its torn right through the leather all his jackets torn to pieces hes just got small cuts/bruises.
Could of been so much worse might be my time to hang it up, always wear your gear though cause his body would of been grated cheese.WRB :)

that FreedomSparrow dude has the 1000. It's on my short list for next year as it is so cheap and that motor is bulletproof. I like the naked version as well. Only other bikes I would look at are the Z900 and the MT10/09.
fuking raining again here. It's such a crap spring this season.rumpler of stiltskins

The MT10 looks like a beast, but I don't think I could find one for the same money. I haven't looked that hard though. Right now I have a VTX 1300 and a 996. I love them both but I want to get back down to one bike for space and maintenance. Trying to find the happy medium between cruising comfort and power. (and price)

Amazing me that I can find sub $8k 2018 models depending on how far I'm willing to drive. The white version seems to tone down the massive front end look. And the blue/black beats out the solid blue 2016 easily. It seems like such a great price for the features and power. It's just a bigger version of my all time favorite, the F4i.
I just need to figure out what I'm going to do with the bikes I have now. I over paid for the 996 so I'm prepared to get hosed on it, but not trade-in hosed. The market here will be absolute dog **** for it. The VTX shouldn't be too hard to unload in this area.

I almost never wave first at cruisers but decided to be nice and wave first and of course he aint wave back. Feelsbadman. Why cruiser such dicks? Gonna stick to my "wave if only they wave first" policy w/cruisers.
