Time to hunker down i guess.
First frost of the year this morning. Time to organize the garage so both cars can fit and that means the bike goes into the corner.
Didnt ride much this year anyways due to injury. Sold my SB. One chitty XL left that i would sell but its almost worthless. Lol
Got me thinking. Id like a power cruiser but cant fight the habit of lean and lets face it they are all pretty slow.
Should i start looking for a unicorn busa? Like 02-05, no frilly chit like the newer bikes is what id like. Along with that big ass comfy frame, could tour it if necessary. And still be in the SB game.
Anyone touring a busa? Ive been on a few and they are comfy as f but does that last for a few hundred miles?Distal Biceps Tendon tear crew. (07/15/19)

Lmao..it's getting worse as time goes on but the women are still sexy af. I'm definitely down to ride with other people when I get some more experience.
Pretty neat story. My first day riding, (around 11:30pm) I stalled my bike once and it was in front of someone's driveway and the guy was just coming out of his house. He approaches me to say what's up since there's not that many riders in the neighborhood and to my luck, I learn he's a racer and he shows me his S1000RR and all his other sick bikes. We have a good chat for about an hour or so and this guy wants to ride with me to teach me good habits and all that good stuff. I tell him when I get some more miles under my belt I'm down so I just took his number down and went back home. Pretty great way to end the night after my first ride. What are the odds of stalling in front of that dude's house lol??HTC

All these 2020 bikes look sick AF.
2020 CBR1000RR-R (lmao so many R's)
2020 Ducati Street Fighter V4
2020 Kawasaki Z-H2
Can't afford them right now though which sucks. I look at bikes as toys so cash only purchases is the way to go but damn...☼ "Don't stop. Never quit. No excuses." ☼

Here is a quick little story. For those that don't know I like to buy and sell motorcycles in my free time. Purchased a 2012 gsxr 600 and then sold it to a young kid two days ago. He had instant buyers remorse when he got home and asked to trade back and I told him I couldn't do that but if he wanted to relist it for sale, go for it. He then offered me $200 to take it back and then $400 to take it back. I told him it was not worth my time and I would need to keep $1000 to take the bike back but I recommended him just reselling it. He agreed. A day later he messages me saying he would let me have the bike back and keep $1000 from the sale. He claimed his parents were livid and he was not ready for a 600. Long story short I had someone pay me $1000 to take a motorcycle back.

TL;DR: I dropped my new bike twice.
So...uhhhh....I dropped my baby about a week ago. Nothing broke or bent and the only damage I have are a couple of small scuffs/scratches. I felt pretty depressed that night and barely could sleep lol. Both times I was practicing my U-turns.
I practiced for a week straight in the parking lots near me and I never had a problem but I wanted to get better at making tighter and tighter u-turns and that's when I fuked up. I was accidently going too slow and stalled and I entered the point of no return. It was already leaning a good amount so there was too much momentum to stop it from going down. I sat down in the lot pretty pissed at myself for making such a dumb mistake especially because I've never been close to dropping my bike and I had practiced u-turns hundreds of times already. Pushing myself a little too hard and improper technique was the death of me...I figured I would call it a night and ride back home after checking the bike and seeing there's no real damage.
I'm on my way home riding all pissed and scared now because of the first drop and as I get near home I want to try the u-turn again to redeem myself. This time, just a simple one in the residential streets. This is when I REALLY ****ed up lmao. I performed the u-turn with absolutely 0 confidence because of the first drop and I had a pretty shiet state of mind because I was so pissed. This video shows almost EXACTLY what happened to me except I didn't actually go over the curb because I pulled in the clutch.
I target fixated towards the curb (fukin nooby mistake) and didn't think I was gonna make it so I rolled on the throttle and panicked. Luckily, I pulled in the clutch so I didn't fly over the curb like the guy in the vid. I did end up falling with my leg angled on the curb though and the bike fell right on it. If I wasn't wearing my boots (Alpinestars SMX Plus v2), I would've 100% broken my foot. After the adrenaline wore off I could start to feel the tenderness and it felt internally bruised but everything healed up in like 2 days and there were no marks/visible bruises. The boots fukin saved me boyos. Just another reason why I went all out on gear.
So, I learned a lot of **** from this tragic night. Target fixation is obviously the big one. I never thought I would be the type of guy to target fixate because I've been through MSF and seen hundreds of crash videos to know better but I guess because I had no experience, I could never really drill it into my brain. I've been watching videos recently to learn better techniques and practicing more u-turns, and now I'm feeling a lot more confident. I still need lots of practice but it's all part of the journey. I'm glad I got the drop over with and I learned a lot of important shiet of what not to do. Man, this bike will probably be trashed after a couple years of learning lol.
Props to those who read this long azz story. Just wanted to vent and share my newbie story. Pics of the fairing

Could've been worse my dood. When I looped I tore my ACL and meniscus. Surgery on the 3rd and "up to 8 months to full recovery". Bye bye power lifting goals of 2020.

What do you guys think about the Z900? I plan on either getting the Z900 or the MT-09 but I'm not sure which way to go. The MT-09 is a crowd fav, of course. However, the Z900 seems to be a nice bike. It just seems that no one really talks about it. Kinda like the XSR900 that was posted above.

A close friend had a z800 and liked it. He was quick on it. Now he has a Tiger 800 instead. He's always sending IG pics to me of MT-09s though.
Some of my buddies have been. Usually warm in Indy right now. My leg is still completely immobilized however. I physically couldn't if I wanted to.Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.
