"So there I am sitting in the waiting area of the hair salon with my niece and Keanu Reeves walks in. I was nervous as ****, but too scared to say anything to him. Then my niece started crying, and I’m trying to quiet her down because I don't want to bother him. Pretty soon he walks over and asks what's wrong. I replied that she was probably hungry. He put down his magazine, picked up my niece, and lifted up his shirt, and breastfed her right there in the salon. Chill guy, really nice about it."

I haven't ridden in years- sold my old Honda shadow not long after my first kid was born.
Recently picked up a sweet Ebike that I've been using around town. Pretty fun and it'll do over 30mph, but after just a week of that I want to get a "real" bike again. Gonna go check out a used Harley for sale after work todayPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

welp I did it boys. Picked up the bike I wanted on Saturday. Found a used one in great condition and only 2k miles. Only wanted a motorcycle for the past 20 something years and now it's finally happening.

the ebike is pretty damn fun, fast enough for in town road use, you can take it on the trails plus you can pedal home if the battery dies.
stewing hard on that harley...

Thanks brotha! Literally as soon as I took off on the test ride I was ready to take it home lol.
Got the insurance and title transfer handled yesterday (Thank you CA DMV for migrating the bulk of stuff to online), taking it for the first real ride today after work!
First mods planned are a bunch of protection lol."So there I am sitting in the waiting area of the hair salon with my niece and Keanu Reeves walks in. She’s home safe in my garage now. Need to get the registration taken care of Monday.
That still didn’t stop me from taking a quick rip up my street last night. It’s got some power for sure

loving it! So much fun.
Needs a little work before I do any real distance on it, but I've been ripping it around town every chance I get
carb needs to be re-jetted, he never did when he put the drag pipes on. It coughs pretty good at low RPM. I messed with the carb settings a bunch this weekend and got it smoothed out to more of a hiccup than a cough. Jet kit is coming this week so I'll change those and re tune next weekend.
One of the forks is leaking so I'll replace both of those. My partner has a bike jack right here at work so I'll steal that next time we have a rainy weekend.
Turn signals are also fukked- press the button and they light up but won't flash. Gonna have to wire in a load equalizer and hope that it fixes it.
or ditch it all together, seat then all tire haha
For real though, I love the rear fender that's on it now.PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

My zx6r battery is smelling like rotten eggs which I assume means battery is over-charging. Had a new battery, stator, and rectifier installed in February. The dealer put in the stator and I installed an aftermarket rectifier by Electrosport (which dealer tested in Feb). Everything was fine from then up until past week where I've been getting the egg smell. Haven't had any power/electrical issues but the smell is getting stronger. Popped the seat and battery screw had some rust on it. From googling seems like most likely culprit is the rectifier; maybe I should have went with a true Kawasaki one? IDK; unless I see something obviously wrong with the connections I'll have to take back to dealer b/c I suck with most things electrical. womp womp

Funny, I bought an ebike this spring, immediately wanted a motorcycle again so I bought that old Harley, then a month later wanted something a little newer / more reliable.
So new purchase
Rode the train 100 miles south, paid the man then rode her home.
Definitely not a fan of that many highway miles, I'd much rather a back road trek.
Wide tire conversion in the rear so she's got Dat asssss

Yea I don't see it having a lot of wear of tear. I usually take the battery out once a year for winter storage. Although it was taken out a bit more this past year as I had some work done on the bike.
Word, will try to this weekend. Seems like I can pick up a new connection piece and re-crimp. Hopefully it's easy.•Black Guy Crew •Christian Crew •Sportbike Crew •Occasionally Alone Crew •UMD Terp Alumni Crew •No Supps Crew •Keeps Shirt On In Avi Crew •Georgia Tech Alumni Crew

you are going to want to keep an eye on that avon cobra tire, i've gone through 3 in as many years. 240x18s. They grip amazingly for cruiser bike tires but they shed like ****ing crazy and they are rated for 10-12K but I'm getting more like 4. Last set barely made it 2. Im giving them one last chance with their updated cobra chrome which is supposed to last longer but they are sketch
