Just wanted to drop in to say that I survived going up against DeSean Jackson & Sammy Watkins this week...

How the hell did you survive that? That was almost 80pts combined. Did the rest of his team absolutely tank?

The rest of his team did average... I was rolling Lamar Jackson, DeAndre Hopkins, TY Hilton, Marlon Mack, and Jets D/ST this week - highest scoring team in the league

If they're included in a lawsuit, it would be incredibly negligent of her lawyer not to verify their authenticity.

As for the charges, I also believe AB's story that they had a consensual relationship. All of what both of the two sides have said are not mutually exclusive. AB could have forcibly kissed her, then they started a consensual relationship, then he jerked off on her back when she wasn't looking (which is creepy and gross regardless of whether it's your girlfriend or not), then they argued / broke up / got back together, then eventually he forced himself on her at some point when she didn't want it, then they got back together again (because women dealing seeing $$$ don't think logically). At that point, when it's too late for a rape kit and with consensual relations both before and after the rape, it would be very difficult to prove in a criminal court. That doesn't mean a rape didn't happen, though. I'm not saying I believe this is the case for sure because, obviously, I don't know anything more than anyone else not connected to the case, I'm just saying it is plausible for her to be raped and not file criminal charges. It is going to make that allegation more difficult to prove in a civil case as well, though, too.

Charged with a crime is not a requirement for the exempt list. Kareem Hunt was placed on the list despite not being arrested or charged with anything. In fact, there are no requirements for it, and it's completely at the discretion of the commissioner:

The Exempt List is a special player status available to clubs only in unusual circumstances. The List includes those players who have been declared by the Commissioner to be temporarily exempt from counting within the Active List limit. Only the Commissioner has the authority to place a player on the Exempt List; clubs have no such authority, and no exemption, regardless of circumstances, is automatic. The Commissioner also has the authority to determine in advance whether a player's time on the Exempt List will be finite or will continue until the Commissioner deems the exemption should be lifted and the player returned to the Active List.

The commissioner definitely has the authority to put AB on the list if he thinks it appropriate.

I think that’s sort of the best strategy. Most people’s natural tendency is to do a nice round number, usually increments of 5. Whatever you’d bid, do 1 higher if you expect it to be a possible in demand player.

I like Breida a lot with Coleman out... high ceiling and now a much safer floor. I don't put much into his week 1

I pretty happy with my team as is strong RB and flex and just picked up Hockeson for TE.
Golloday / Williams are fighting it out for my wr2 spot. Was hoping to upgrade but they should be sufficient anyway.

I'd probably put Godwin last because of how absolutely atrocious Winston looked Week 1. Personally i'd probably go Crowder since the Bears may smarten up and NOT make Mitch throw 45 times a game, and instead rely on the run game.

i too have this dilemma on one of my rosters.

i feel obligated to say Josh and every metric points to him over Winston but damn. I'm 50/50 on it still. Jameis is a hot mess but fantasy-wise he can be so good in spots, and you'd think that Bruce Arians will bring the best out of him sooner than later.

i guess you go Josh anyway, factoring in the bucs road thursday game as mentioned already. Giants were so bad last week that they have nowhere to go but up though. Saquon will get the ball a ton and i bet they win despite everything.

Oof. You're significantly weakening 2 positions for a similar upgrade at one. Ertz isn't going to have 115 catches again this year, but he is clearly still a top 5 TE at worst with a high floor. Plus, you're WR corps is a little thin. Allen is fine, but CMC sucked all of the air out of the rest of Car's offense last week, Westbrook has to play with a 6th round rookie for most of the rest of the season, Moncrief looked like total garbage who couldn't either run a route or catch the ball, Parker has never been good, and while I am high on McLaurin, he is still just a rookie so there is risk there. I've been high on Gallup as a breakout candidate all year, and that first game did nothing but reinforce that belief.

On the other hand, Zeke & Kamara alone can win you games, WR is one of the easier positions to improve in season, and I also like Andrews as a lower tier starting TE because Bal has always used their TE as an integral part of the offense, so he's not a terrible replacement for Ertz. It's a tough call.

I'd probably take that. A lot of mouths to feed in Philly now, and Ertz isn't going to replicate last years numbers. Zeke + Kamara would be an amazing stack. Assuming Sanders = Emanuel Sanders? So between him and McLaurin, you have a solid #2 Wide out to start.
