won this league 2 years ago on the back of lev bell and kamara (waiver wire wonder), and took 3rd last year in a narrow b efore finals. trying to get that chip, as always going to have to stay active on waivers and trades cause never get the ideal team.

Well cowboys have already offered him almost the same as gurley. It sounds closer than gordon who the reports say are millions off. Jones pays his studs thats a fact. Likely a new contract will come shortly

They're close but I think I lean Dalvin. If hes healthy he can be a top 5 rb IMO

It's an interesting topic as both have different concerns. Chubb has the spectre of Kareem Hunt looming over him, whereas Dalvin hasn't been able to stay healthy. Chubb has more power and bit more long speed, I see him as a better version of Fournette or a worse version of Zeke. Cook I see as a shiftier player, perhaps more comparable to Kareem Hunt. My concern with Chubb is that his "every-down" role is being overhyped, kind of like Fournette and Howard were last year. I may be wrong on this, but I don't really see him having much receiving upside. I think Cook, if he can stay healthy, can be the true every-down back.

Pretty much my exact thoughts. I grabbed cook at 19 and was hoping chubb would still be there for my 24/25 back2backs.


Though I do believe chubb has more reciever skills than you are giving him credit for. Hunt scares me.

If I am a chubb owner, I'm hoping he beasts the first month, and I'm trading him.

A long time ago, I was in an auction league with a bunch of former coworkers, and one year one guy bought the two most expensive players for like 75% of his budget (who were Terrell Davis and Brett Favre) and filled in his roster with $1 and $2 players. He hit on Fred Taylor in his rookie year as an RB2 and won the whole league easily. It's super risky. If you buy two superstars and a bunch of scrubs & fliers, then if even one of your two guys either busts or gets injured, you're pretty much sunk.

It's the studs and duds strategy. Load up on 3-4 great players and then fill out your roster with $1-5 players. If you hit on some of the duds you can win the league as Jaybarbie has explained.

Plus Kamara, CMac, and Barkley are so versatile. It’s Kind of like getting a stud RB, and solid ppr wr in one body

I think you did really well with a $200 budget. Getting Mack and Diggs was a solid addition to your studs. You must have gotten them at a nice price because they go in the $20 range in the drafts I've been doing.

Depends who your RBs are and what the rest of your team looks like. Boyd and Golladay are the #1 WR on their teams so not bad if your RBs are good.

I went CMC, Williams, and Henry in a 12 man league. I'm pretty happy with the first two picks, but I'm not sure if taking Henry in 3rd round was the right option with some pretty good WRs left on the board still.

CMC was solid. Williams was decent. Henry in the 3rd was terrible. He's a 5th or 6th round player.

rather have Chubb than Odell tbh. I own Cooper in one league but am a bit worried about his foot

Overall decent draft, I think another WR around where Goff was picked and then Goff in the 10th would have given you slightly better depth

Next 5 WRs that were taken after my Goff pick were Pettis, Sutton, Watkins, Davis, Jones, Metcalf. Maybe Im just way too high on Geronimo coming into the season, but I feel like he has a good chance at putting up comparable numbers to most of those guys. I know I reached hard on Kyler, Im on the manlet hype train though. I really wanted Chubb I drafted him a ton last year, I just knew Id have to reach Hunt as a safety blanket (Chubb owner took Hunt early 8th rd). On spread

Goff is basically going undrafted FYI. I got him the 14th round. Edit: his ADP is way higher than I thought, crazy. He's going in the back end of the 8th/ early 9th. Guess I got lucky!

Kinda surprised at everyone not liking the Goff pick, he was 17pts away from cracking top 5 at QB for the 2018 season and one of those dudes in front of him just retired.

I think you could make a run...I stayed away from D. Johnson, but he'll get crazy volume I'd imagine...Your 3 starting WRs are really good...I like Penny a lot as well

Didn't the Rams lose 2 offensive linemen to free agency? I know one at least went to the Titans which is helping Henry's status. But that would be a reason Goff is trending lower.
