First cut need a bit of opinions

Hey hope everyone is having An Amazing day. I been two weeks on my first cut ive calculated literally every calories I put In me.. I dont wanna call this a diet because if i Can fit something Good on my calories I eat it.. So im on 500-700 deficit. Question is ive Lost 2kgs In two weeks is that like 4lbs maybe? Is It okay TO LOSE that fast without SACRIFICE bunch of muscle. If you ask me im feeling Good not tired. BENCHPRESS and ohp feels heavier other lifts i been adding even reps and feel like a bit stronger. I am eating 145-165g protein at 83kgs. So is this approach Good or too fast?

Some of it is initial waterloss, which is a common thing when starting a cut. As you seem to have a decent grasp at your deficit size, all while you're feeling good and workouts are going well, there's no reason to worry. I bet your weight loss rate will slow down in a couple of weeks anyway.

as your bodyweight goes down, try to push yourself hard enough in the gym to keep the weights and reps the same or as close as you can so you retain muscle.

You will naturally lose a little bit of muscle, but you'll end up looking so big at the end of your cut it won't matter.

Sounds like you're smashing it man. Keep up the hard work.

If you are concerned with retaining muscle the main points would be.

    1) train your muscles intensely and frequently. If you are only hitting body parts once per week you will lose muscle. Try 2-3 times atleast.

    2) spread your protein out throught the day as best you can. Your muscles will be consistant supplied with protien that way which will encourage muscle protein synthesis to take place at a more efficient rate.

    3) if you find you are losing weight too quickly reduce your deficit. A deficit will make you lose fat whether it's a 700 calorie one or a 150 calorie one.

    4) make sure your muscles are recruiting. Don't just sling some heavy weight about uncontrolled. Stretch it to its limits and hold it and squeeze right to the top.

You'll get mad results if you stay ontop of these principles.

    💪
