Not technically a concert but it was a musical so kind of the same, saw Beetlejuice the musical at the Winter Garden theater on Broadway in NYC. Have been to plays / musicals in the past but never anything on Broadway and surprisingly it was fun and a good show. My wife had low expectations going in but she too ended up liking it quite a bit.
Picked up tickets for Martina McBrides Christmas concert this coming December, have always enjoyed her music and I know my wife will enjoy the Christmas theme.
Booked tickets for Shania Twain in Vegas next march, have wanted to see her for a long time and she is not touring anywhere other than a Vegas residency so I said screw it lets just get this done."You know that little thing in your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't? Yeah, well, I don't have one of those."

Took the wife to see The Book of Mormon at the Overture in Madison, it flat out sucked. We left at the intermission as neither of us liked one bit of it. I'm as anti PC as they come and will gladly pick on religions of all types but this crap was just crude and humorless.

Saw Billy Idol in Vegas last weekend, fantastic show he put on. Still sounds good & really engages with the audience, if you have a chance to see him & enjoy his music, do it as I guarantee you won't regret it.
Also saw Criss Angel and while not a musical deal he does use music in his act & it was fantastic as well.
And just got back from Miranda Lambert concert in Milwaukee, was much better than I had expected, was worried she would play a lot of the crap from her divorce album but she avoided that completely. Also had Ashley McBride, & Pistol Annies which is a 3 woman group that Miranda is part of. Lastly there was Elle King who is more of a blues singer, she is the daughter of Deuce Bigelow's Rob Schneider. her music was fine but her mic was way off & it was hard to understand most of her lyrics."You know that little thing in your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't? ZZ Top sounded great in fact a little too great as honestly they sounded damn near exactly like their albums which never happens in a concert so I think they were lip synching. Still a good show though.

At the hotel in Minnesota, just got done with Martina McBrides Christmas concert & it was excellent. 16 piece band backing her up. If anyone is even slightly into Christmas music & enjoys Martina then see her show if she comes near you.
Now we don’t have another show until Shania in Vegas next March."You know that little thing in your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't? Yeah, well, I don't have one of those."

Monday night I took my wife to see Michael Bublé, I spent a LOT of good money on that (yes I am shamelessly digging for sympathy)
I'm not a big fan but I don't mind him, unfortunately he clearly didn't want to be there (he probably just wanted to be at home with his family after a tour that started in February)
Worth mentioning the band lead trumpeter Jumaane Smith, not only was his playing fantastic but he also sang a song and was equally as good as Bublé and the pianist was fantastic. I'd have been more than happy if it had just been those two.

Seeing Cher next month and then in may have 1 weekend that's booked solid with Airbourne in Chicago followed by The Rolling Stones in Minnesota 2 days later. Last year tickets for the Stones at Soldiers field for the a Saturday concert were $350+, this yr at US Bank stadium where the Vikings play I got them for $85 each for a Saturday show.

Ok 2020 turned into a total $hit show but finally attended a concert this evening, the last concert we attended was Firehouse in Dubuque last St Pattys day well we started covid and now finished covid with the same group. It was their 5th annual and was a joy to attend live music again.
