We're less than 3 weeks away from the draft.
It's a yearly tradition where all the draft wizards submit their boom/bust lists and then months/years later someone bumps this thread to point and laugh at them or to display their draft wizardry.
So who's your boom and bust players for this upcoming draft?
Extra points for people submitting their picks before we know who drafts them.

NFL Draft 2019 - Boom/Bust

My list before knowing who goes where
Boom:
Nick Bosa
Quinnen Williams
Brian Burns - I think he's got the best potential in this class as an edge rusher but prefer Bosa's floor and overall game more
TJ Hockenson
Byron Murphy
Chris Lindstrom
Darnell Savage
Juan Thornhill
Sean Bunting
Bust:
Kyler Murray - i think he starts out hot but I don't get the vibe that he's someone who will work to keep his passing game where it should be. RG3/Kap like early high to injuries/mediocrity. Of course this prediction could very easily blow up in my face if he's drafted by the Cards and 9ers have to play him twice a year.
Jachai Polite
Devin White
Greedy Williams
Rashan Gary

This is a common draft process topic, not sure what’s so surprising to you.
It’s not just his height but his size. If he’s playing at the same weight he did in college he’s gonna get hurt in the NFL. I think he has a great arm and touch and obviously can fly when he takes off. I think he’ll have some really high moments in the NFL. But I also got a really bad vibe from him in his Dan Patrick interview. That was an awful interview for any player but especially a quarterback. So I’m getting a lot of RG3 vibes from the guy.

This is my personal opinion, but I do think the size is a big one. He's going to be going against a totally different level of competition and getting hit a lot more. Not to mention much bigger linemen to look over.
He was amazing in College, but he was incredible because he was the best athlete on the field most of the time. I'm not sold on his ability to be a pocket passer and read/dissect a defense. No QB can excel at the NFL level on athleticism alone.
Granted, I'd have no problem being proven wrong. He seems like a good kid and I do wish him the best. I just don't see his college game transitioning to the NFL.6'1 - 240lbs

I listed my reason in my post...
But to expand on it I think his size(not height) is an issue with his playing style. Dude is a freak but in the NFL he'll get hit. We've seen a lot of running QBs get injured, some much bigger than he is.
Unless Arizona is somehow able to improve their OL VERY quickly he'll be a ticking time bomb in terms of getting injured IMO.
And once again...just the vibe I get but I'm not sure he'll put in enough work to improve as a pocket passer where those injury risks can be limited. And considering Kliff Kingsbury is going to be giving his players cell phone breaks despite the scheme fit, i'm not sure it will work out well in the long run.

The whole he's unable to be a pocket passer stuff is BS. He's always been a pocket passer even dating back to his time as a high schooler. He just so happened to also be the fastest player on the field as well.
He's been operating as a pocket QB, because his dad is a QB coach, since he was dominating Texas football at the highest level

I also said in my pick of him being a bust that it could totally blow up in my face but let's be real....those clips don't show anything special which screams pure pocket passer. Each snap was out of the shotgun. He's in a perfect offense for him right now assuming Arizona does draft him but what happens if they can't win quick enough and Kingsbury is fired?

Maybe i'm speaking of him strictly from the 49ers perspective where our roster is filled with those type of players but to me it depends where he goes. If he goes top 15 you're looking for that production and not just someone to hold up double teams.
But there's no question he's a talented kid and has crazy athletic ability for his size.

I'm curious where all those guys go. To me Sweat needs a lot of work. He's done some really good things and those measurables are what you dream up in a lab when designing a pass rusher but too hot/cold, plus his heart condition scares teh fuk outta me. He needs to go to a team where he can be coached up and not have a ton thrown at him right away. Personally I'd want my team to stay away.
I like Haskins more than any QB in this class but don't see him as a sure thing. I think the Giants would be a great spot for him. With Barkley there and Evan Engram it's perfect QB development situation, even can sit behind Eli for a bit.
Oliver is probably the closest dude to Aaron Donald as a comp but if he's drafted by a team with a mediocre DL talent it will take some time for him to blow up i think.
