So a box of bb.com signature series goods arrived on my doorstep, Xmas in the spring is a beautiful thing. I'll go into more detail later, but gddmn those bars are sick, should call them birthday crack instead of birthday cake!

I just did my daily kb workout. I had a decently hard judo class last night, and felt a little beat up, so I did 5 x 50 kb swings with 70lb, and 15 push-ups after each set, banged it all out pretty fast. I needed to get some protein in, so of course there was only one choice:

Sexy. Super fluffy powder with tiny sprinkles thrown in, smells as you'd expect. Very good!

I threw a scoop in 6oz cold water, and it's excellent, loads of birthday cake flavor and the sprinkle bits are just the right size, and not too many of them, just right. It's sweet and dessert-like, which I find useful to kill cravings, and I expect it would bake some wicked pancakes or whatever, if you're into that kind of exercise (I'm not).

I'll give it a 9 out of 10 on the XF scale.

I'm a couple scoops down on the protein powder. I mixed it with soy milk (<3 phytoestrogens lol), and again with water. It's just very tasty stuff, and the consistency is a bit thicker than mnay straight whey powders, which I enjoy.

I cracked open the Signature Series Creatine Monohydrate, and threw it in my birthday cake shake, like I would normally with the vs stuff I've been using. Ive been on creatine for a while now, so I won't notice a difference, but I am pleased to report this is light, micronized, fluffy, tasteless, and seems as high quality as creapure.

In other news, I have a dairy allergy. Not lactose, some other mysterious microfraction that ****s me up bad, I get bronchitis-like symptoms, a sore throat, congestion. I was worried a bit about the bars, but neither the whey nor the bars are bothering me one bit, which is excellent!

I take it back: this creatine is bull****. They put a scoop in there that's perfectly camouflaged, and at 5am, in ninja mode in my dark kitchen, it's straight invisible.

It really is good. I'll have to have it some more but I think it's Top 3 all time for me in what I consider the vanilla family flavor.

Well, there went that tub of protein, boooo. I will be ordering more when I finish up my old stock of stuff I had laying around, which will be soon. I REALLY enjoyed this stuff.
