Muscle Pharm combat protein cookies and cream - question

So, long story short, I bought the same 5.5-pound bag from Costco about 1.5 months ago and it was delicious, some of the best I have ever tasted. yesteryday, I bought a new bag and it is disgusting, bad after taste and all, nothing like the original i bought. has anyone ever experienced this? is it possible the new bag was exposed to moisture and gone bad somehow?

I am only asking because the difference in taste is so extreme and noticeable. I cant think of anything that would cause such a discrepancy in taste.

Or perhaps shop here?

thanks for the reply, update for anyone interested or with a similar problem. turns out there is a batch/lot number on each bag. I exchanged it for a different batch/lot number and it was significantly better and closer to what I remembered. It must have just been a bad bag.

Very good to know, I wouldn't have ever considered checking batch numbers or expiration dates prior to seeing this lol
