He cannot ever be found innocent of collusion, as there is no such crime; which has been the point all along. Talking heads can spend the rest of history saying that he was guilty of collusion, even though nobody was indicted for it (you cannot be indicted for a non-crime and there is no evidentiary threshold).

Those who wanted the investigation knew it was complete twoddle from the start, but it let them create years of negative press, which was the entire point.

What I see happening is Mueller probably did find something....probably the equivalent of a misdemeanor. Democrats will gnash their teeth, create the narrative that the "j-walking" trump is guilty of is the equivalent of genocide and vote for impeachment for those petty findings. It will pass in the House, but it will get shot down in the Senate, and then they'll use that as ammo against the GoP in 2020 by saying republicans are protecting a "criminal."
