    Wrist Support Grips

    Hello all,

I’m semi-new to lifting, only been doing this for a year. My wrists often are sore after I lift, what I consider, heavy. I have small wrists and often times it’s a struggle to grip a bench press when it’s above 185, or when I deadlift 2 plates. Are there any remedies to make stronger wrists or would anyone recommend wrist support grips? If so please list which ones. Thank you so much, hope you have a good day.

I use Rogue wrist straps for benching. Saves some wear and tear.

If your wrists are sore from deadlifting most likely your grip is too wide, which puts you in much graver risk of blowing our your biceps with a mixed grip.

Thank you so much, I’ll have to start watching tutorials on deadlifting to make sure my form is right then. I appreciate it.

I had a problem with wrist pain in my first year. Started with preacher curls, bench made it worse. I now use wrist wraps every time I bench and dropped preacher curls from my workout. Make sure your wrists are straight during bench as well.

Below is he wrist wrap I bought.
