    Keep bulking throughout summer ?

    So I’ve been bulking for about 4 1/2 months eating about 3500 calories a day and I’ve gained a solid 20+ pounds. However I’m not that big yet as I’m sitting at 160 lbs. I should also add that I’m only 16. I’ve wanted to start cutting in a month or so but I feel like I should just keep bulking until I’m around 185.

    It all really depends on your body fat level and whether you're unhappy with it - if you've managed to stay relatively lean during your bulk then I would say keep going until you reach your target weight and then cut. Also it depends what your priority is: staying lean all year round and having six-pack abs or getting big and building muscle, even if it means carrying a bit of extra fat.

    I agree with this. Slow bulk and get those teen year muscle gains.

    You need to stay on a healthy diet throughout your teen years and frankly for a few years after that. I literally went a decade before doing my first cut, so you have plenty of time and your older self will thank you for it!
