Is TW3 not getting a "next gen" update? I'm assuming it will be re-made to a level of RDR2 which would make it even more epic, the models in the vanilla 2015 version are kinda rough tbh, the global illumination and world is beautiful though

I suck bawlz with a controller as an adult but I could easily start it on my giant 4K tv & chillMAXX my way through the game?? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When you move from N64 to PC in 2000 with a 0ms response CRT @ 120-160hz refresh rate

and then

Counter-Strike @ 100fps for 12 years

I feel bad too. It's weird. They do win points in my eyes for giving full refunds though. I really want to know what happened. I look forward to watching a documentary about this event in a few years.


Well, a few years after patches and DLC make it amazing and confuses the fuk out of a lot of people.

But you know, even with the graphics, bugs, glitches.......it's still really fukkin fun. It feels like it's 90% complete or something, but so far it's a 8/10 for me personally. I just started act 2, which I hear is where the real game starts, so I am excite.

That describes a lot of my feelings towards the game. I can overlook most of the bugs because I'm sure they will get fixed eventually, but it is obvious they intended this game to be a deep RPG experience but ended up having to a 180 just to get this thing released, and now we have an open-world action/adventure game with RPG elements, that really doesn't excel at anything. Because of that, they went with the generic cookie-cutter protagonist, which is great when you are playing a true RPG, but since they failed at creating a true RPG experience in a reasonable amount of time, I'm stuck with this protagonist who is boring, has no personality, and who I generally don't care about. Don't even let me get started on the lifepaths...what a complete joke.

Basically, what would have made this a great game for me, I don't think is fixable with patches. My guess is we will get some DLC at some point which gives us a glimpse of what their true vision for this game was, but the main game at this point is very disappointing.

Like theres a million things that aren't in the game in general... why wheelchairs of all things.

Knowing they have hardly any AI.

Knowing almost all characters have cybernetic legs lmao

So many things missing...

"We Need DILDOS and WHEELCHAIRS to make the world feel alive, put them in no matter what you cut, we are keeping the wheelchairs to add dimension to the game world"

The funny thing about all this is that the bugs actually are PROTECTING the fundamental game design flaws of the base game because we are talking about the bugs and glitches and not like... all the things that were promised and not delivered and the general amateurish scope of the whole piece.

And then people think its bad because of the bugs, and not just bad in general overall (besides city graphics in 4K and music)

1. theres the bugs
2. theres the game being objectively bad

Number 1 is actually protecting number 2. And people are STILL being misled thinking it will be "better" in a few months.

If you're gonna enjoy the game you for what it is you can do so today just the same as when they "fix the bugs" and inversely no amount of bug fixes can bring this game out of the grave of its mediocrity and "meh-ness"

i have a savepoint somewhere around there. i'll see if i can rerun. the issue might be the dynamic day/night cycles. i bet he looks like that at dusk or at night. when i got to him, it was like 10am or some chit. bright AF all around.

I mean its a million possible combinations of day/night, gamma settings, windows Nvidia settings, and in game settings.

The two pics don't really look that different just one has a lot more shadow than the other.

I'm level 18, 30 street cred, 45%/10%/10% complete. Doing the main story and side quests + gigs, I'm encountering almost zero issues. I haven't needed to restart the game once, NPCs seem to respond appropriately, etc etc

Im not referencing issues I personally experience I just find the idea of the wheelchair especially funny like capturing the lapses in logic by the devs and programmers in a nutshell. Cooky europeans lmao.

They are just goofy and weird man. Like even look at the goofy posts by Blissfull88 a weird eurospammer on this board, perfect example. They are just... on a different wavelength I don't know how to explain it. And this contextual knowledge of EU cringe stinks up the game.

I personally ran into:
-T-Pose bugs
-Mouth not moving bugs
-Ghosting outside of car while driving (also in T-pose)
-Helping a cop in a shootout kill some bad guys and then after they died he thanked me and I completed the NCPD side mission but then he also started shooting me and hunting me down like I was an enemy.
-1 crash to desktop in an elevator so now I stay perfectly still in elevators lol
-perma crouch if you crouch while theres dialogue bug
-I pressed c but it skipped the dialogue since crouch and skip are same button and you have to push crouch to fix it
-Then for some reason I pressed shift once and my gun came out and started auto spraying into a group of people even though I didn't click my mouse to fire or even had a gun equipped and it made me get a police level and had to reload the whole game for the gun to stop auto firing.

Mostly ignorable stuff, still gonna play some more and try to have fun to mass loot, spend money, upgrade all my stuff. Rinse repeat, and then do the main quest line while im super OP and just breeze through in classic RPG fashion.
