Injured my lower back with back extensions

It's been a while since i did this exercise and i forgot not to hyper extend when doing them.
First set, it felt like zero resistance so the second set i used a 25 lbs plate. Did 8 reps but holding that giant plate felt uncomfortable.
So i did 1 more set of 8 bodyweight reps and that was it.

Didn't feel any pain during the exercises, when home and no problem.
But the next day my lower back felt very stiff and painful if i bent over to grab something.
Still painful now 3 days later.

I hope it's not going to set me back several weeks. It's not like i damaged it going heavy like on deadlifts or anything.
But i think my lowerback was just really week since i neglected it a lot and then when i did the back extensions (and hyper extended) it really set it off.
Just here sharing my stupidity since there are a lot of lower back injury threads already posted which i read.
