Is it too late to start strongman at 23, 5'6, as in only dibbled for a max of 2 months the gym until 23. I'm about to turn 24 but want to get strong enough to become a world strongest man, is it too late in order to go for WSM or arnold classic strongman? I started at 95KGs weight and i went up to 99KGs but now I'm down to 95KGs after loosing some fat
ATM I've only been going to a strongman gym for almost 5 months now from barely lifting 10KGs for anything with arms to now log pressing 55KGs with 5-6 reps (Which ive been told by other guys there my power in the push is unbelievable and can probabbly go to 80KGs easily if i work on my arms to keep the log up). I started leg press at 40KGs (yes I was a piss weak World of Warcraft player) to now about 180KGs for 10 reps.
Mainly just asking with these numbers is it possible if I could atleast come 10th in the WSM or Arnold Classic within about 4-6 years?
Main goal is Log Press at min 120KGs by the end of the year
Edit: I go to the gym for about 2 hours a day for 5 days a week atm, only started 5 day a week 2 weeks ago, before that I was on a 3 day a week strongman program that my gym owner made for me. and about to start 6 days a week (yes I know its alot of days in the gym but my recovery time is amazing, and I don't get overtrained atm).
Edit 2: Also only thing I can change is my diet, atm I drink 6-7 cans of coke a day, down from 7-9 a day, and I only have one meal a day, one pizza, which I'm changing next week to min 500G of mince per day with rice or pasta, if I change this I think I'll be able to lift more, Currently only having 30-50 grams of protein per day with no protein shakes or and pre or post workout crap.
Edit 3: This is also without any equipment like belt wrist straps or anything

5 days a week seems a lot for strongman training considering your main goal is to boost up your lift numbers
when i started powerlifting, i found that after a 2 day rest period, i was about to lift more and with much more efficiency i.e. no joint or tendon pain
you may think you have a good recovery time but try the 48 hour rest period for two weeks and see if you notice any difference

I did forget to mention I did have a 48 hour rest when i started for the first month, but the gym is becoming more like an addiction for me, the days I don't go to the gym all i do is watch youtube or netflix,
Also the 48 hour rest period doesn't really affect how much I can lift, and I dont get join or tendon pain unless I actually injure myself like this week i over extended my wrist so I've had 2 days off and went back to gym.
So main point from this is I don't get less efficiency without without the rest period.
Thanks for the reply.
Edit: Also, I boost my numbers how ever much I can lift every week by 5KGs on everything, so far I haven't found my max yet.

All jokes aside man, the answer is NO. You will not even be close in 5 years to WSM or Arnold Classic. If it was that easy (and yes, 5 years of dedicated training is relatively easy) than there would be A LOT more competition in those contests. Those men have much more than 5 years of doing everything perfect to get to that level. 5 years will put you at a strong guy at a local meet.
With that said, just because you can't do it quick doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. Train for 5 years and do some competitions and see where you're at. However, if you need to be a world champ in 5 years, you need to look elsewhere. You just can not get that strong in that short time frame. Most of my lifting gets posted to Instagram - https://instagram.com/fayerjw/

Dude, having only 30-50 grams of protein per day with no protein shakes or and pre or post workout crap, you are already the strongest natural man in the Universe.
Fuack science! Show me what you can do under the bar. That's where it's at

Surely this is a joke ?
23 is young, it's always a silly question anyway when people ask 'Am I too old ?'
6-7 cokes a day is terrible, ditch it completely and drink water, milk and juice and nothing else. Also limit alcohol or go tee total.
For your weight but also considering your inexperience your numbers are pretty bad but you have lots of time to improve, being heavier than most men you can get stronger than most men with training.
If you wanna get anywhere near the top 1000 worlds strongest men you need 10,000 calories daily, supplements, probably drugs, physios, hours in the gym every week, sleep at least 8 hours each night (Eddie Hall used to sleep 8 hours, get up and eat a mega breakfast and then go back to bed for another 2 hours).
You're too short at 5'6 anyway.
Do your best though and you can get strong with training.
I still think this is a joke but I replied so I suppose the jokes on me now.Squat - 190kg

No, this isn't a joke I'm already changing my diet, was suppose to start last week but sprained my wrist during log press on Monday, so starting this week, I'm wanting to get into the top 10 strongest men in Australia, that's my long term goal, and log pressing at least 200KGs, and by long term i mean 10-15 years long term. No I won't take any drugs, and I want to get a better gym plan, mainly due to the plan I'm on now I'm only at the gym for 40-60 minutes, but I have all day and want to go tot he gym for about 3-5 hours a day, I have the time but just cant find a long enough gym plan. The weight atm is mainly just fat, not much muscle compared to fat, like 30-35% body fat atm which is also changing with the diet and new plan I'm changing to this week
TLDR; No sugar from Monday, tomorrow, new gym plan, gonna be fun
Edit: Also, I know I'm young but when I hear most of the current WSM have started in their teens (14-18) and I'm 23 that's at least 5 years on top of me, and now they are in their 30s, but when people start to hit 40 their strength starts to fade compared to their younger years, that's why i ask (I am sorry I'm not good at getting my point across over typing, I'm a little Autistic).

The problem isn't really your age so much as it's your overall build. I don't think there's a single wsm competitor under 6feet tall. With many of them being taller than 6'3.
One of the reasons they are so strong is because how large they are. At 5'6 you just don't have the strength potential that you need to compete on a world level.
But none of that matters... I'll probably never bench 315 for reps... Doesn't mean I won't spend the next many years trying.Recent best lifts

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko
