Hello everyone,
I have been working out consistently for a year along with dieting and have met my weightloss goal (yay!) However, I cannot seem to lose weight on my butt. It seems like it just sticks there! I try to target and tone it but it seems like nothing works. I even tried to up the cardio to see if that helped along with adjusting my diet to reduce the amount of calories I took again but I just felt too weak to work out, as I should be eating around 1800 calories a day. I know the women in my moms side all have an extra large posterior (genetics, ugh) but I still feel like it is possible, with some insight.
Thank you!

Targeting Fat?

To lose fat, eat in a calorie deficit. Realize that you cannot pick and choose where the fat comes off unless you have liposuction. The areas that bother people the most are the areas with the most fat so they are going to be the areas that take the longest to lean out.

Working a specific area will not burn fat in that particular area, in fact that can exacerbate the problem if muscle gets built under the fat
OP you need to lower your calories and the fat WILL come off you just need patience as everyone has a problem area where fat comes of last.If you don't get what you want you didn't want it bad enough

People, especially new members looking for actual help, are sometimes at a desperate stage (mostly those who are obese), and are ready to try anything if there's a possibility of it working. That's why so many people fall for scam products and bogus fad diet/workouts.
You give poor advice, I'm not the first to point it out, and people should be informed to ignore poor advice.
