Hi there fellow trainers,
I’ve been training for about 7-8 months, and have been seing some great results, and haven’t been skinnyfat for a while. My problem right now, is that I changed my diet, not because it wasn’t working but because it wasn’t all that healthy (and i started to get stomache problems). I find that 3000 kcal is about what I need to eat, to be in a nice lean bulk. I no longer eat processed sugar, and i have cut down on the unhealthy fats. I eat rye protein bread, tuna, advocado, lots of greens and so on, peanutbutter. However, when I eat low calory dense food, I find it’s SUPER hard to consume 3000 kcal. I simply feel too full through out the day. My protein is around 200g daily (i weigh about 81 kg, circa 175 lbs) but i can only consume about 2500 calories.
What would be the best to fill in “the gaps” of 3000 kcal? Without being too unhealthy? I really need some higher calorie dense food, but I can’t think of anything without it being too unhealthy. Thanks in advance!

to make it easy for you, forget the word "unhealthy" and look at foods more on a basic level. They are all just a combination of macro and micronutrients, virtually all of which our bodies need at least some. These can be found in things like burgers, pizza, tacos, ice cream etc that are unfairly labeled as unhealthy. You have a goal calorie amount and macro amount, hit those goals with foods you enjoy.

Agree that the word "unhealthy" is too easily tossed around these days.
Steak, pasta, peanut butter, nuts, cheese, avocado, olive oil, etc.
Not that hard to find a few calorie dense foods to get in those extra 500 cals. All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.
Don't be upset with the results you didn't get from the work you did not do.

I am currently bulkiing (hav been for 3 months+) and have experimented a lot with getting in my 3200 calories a day.
List of foods:
- avocado
- BURRRITOS/FAJITAS ** <-- This. Go to chipotle. Buy tortillas, these meals turn into 1000 cals easy and so good.
- cheese
- PBJS
- SUSHI** <-- Tons of options, carbs, protein. You cannot go wrong
- Sandwhiches
- OLIVE OIL ** < -- easy calories
- PROTEIN SHAKES** <-- Milk/Oats/Peanut Butter/Protein
It is SO hard to bulk on what you are eating. You can still eat "healthy" without eating what you find in the ground in your backyard lol. Throw in veggies, throw in nutrition bars, eat whole wheat bread. You have to eat foods you like that are not trash. I hardly ever ate burgers, pizza, fries. I love sandwhichs, shakes, bread, sushi, chicken/rice. Don't worry SO much about it dude. Make bulking doable, not miserable!Sushi & Protein Shakes allyouneed

Basically just answered your own question. Don't eat foods with low caloric density--or at least not all the time. For example, I'm in college which makes it difficult for me to eat properly. What I've started doing is front-loading my day. Breakfast is ~1,500 calories--purely going for calories. Normally rice, pork or chicken sausage, scrambled eggs with cheese, and pork gravy.
Then for lunch, I get salad bar. Spinach, beans, peas, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, all that ****, and one of those "Naked" fruit smoothies.
For dinner, which I eat after rugby practice, I get a mix. Tonight was a turkey sandwich on whole wheat with tomatoes, lettuce, etc., and I followed it with a pint of cashew milk ice cream.
Hit 3,500 calories easily, with appropriate balance between nutrient-dense and calorie-dense foods.
The ice cream for me is a lifesaver. Soymilk or cashew milk ice cream still has ~850 calories per pint, but literally 25% as much sugar as other types. And it's f*ckin' delicious.BP: 280

If I ever had a problem getting in calories:
3 whole eggs
2 slices of cheddar
2 Slices of bacon
sliced avocado
everything bagel
hot sauce + ketchup
butter
that's ~1000 calories of awesome.... no issue eating two of those in one sitting"When I die, I hope it's early in the morning so I don't have to go to work that day for no reason"
