Weird heart sensation

Hey guys, this is no way a means to replace going to my doctor but I’m hoping someone else has experienced this and found a solution.

It seems I’m having heart palpitations or at least a sensation where it feels like blood being squeezed through a small hole in the middle of my chest. Sometimes occurs throughout the day but mainly when I’ve finished a set at the gym. Any ideas what it could be? It’s kind of worrying so I’m going to book an appointment regardless.

I take no supplements, one cup of black coffee before the gym and I’m in a caloric deficit. Other than that I can’t think of any lifestyle things that may affect this.

I'm a doctor and I have no idea what you are referring to. Definitely see a doctor for this. You'll at least get an EKG.

Never once heard of such symptoms... ‘squeezed through a small hole’ is not a general enough symptom. Typically we think in terms of:

Pressure
Pain
Sharp/dull
Burning
Tearing
Skipping/racing/fluttering
Etc...

How frequent are these symptoms? Do they ever apear at night? In any case, go to a cardiologist and he will probably recomend an Ekg for 24 hours.
