How do pain killers effect my workout/ gains?

I was wondering how do pain killers affect workout, recovery and my strength. If there is a study you know about, please leave a link.

If you're taking them preworkout you are greatly increasing the risk of injury. They can override your nervous system (golgi tendon organs and muscle spindles).
Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

I can tell you everything you know. You wont know if you're doing too much or if you injure yourself. Its great if you want to deal with injuries you made while taking opiates (no accusation)
educate yourself before you wreck yourself.

Training creates an inflammatory response which we want for muscle growth.

Try to take anything that reduces inflammation (Vitamin C, Vitamin E, pain meds) as far away from the training window as possible.

Your body uses inflammation to rebuild muscles.
    Pain killers suppress inflammation.
    Cycling, walking, swimming.
    No car.

Generally pain killers , opioids and such, are central nervous system depressants. Not exactly the thing I’m looking for during a workout
I get a tax deduction just by hanging out here

    More reps, no texts
